Texas - Canadian Texas Tour

Having lived in Alberta , Canada on two occasions as native Texans we were finally able to convince our Canadian friends come experience Texas. Pig hunting in Shiner , fishing on the coast , followed by BBQ in Lockhart , Country Fried steak in Gruene and live music in Cedar Park , Luckenbach and Fredericksburg , we enjoyed our night at your wonderful accommodations. Thanks again for sharing your place with us!

The cabin is close to downtown and yet on the edge of town. Ideal for 3-4 people. Better than hotel as we could make our own coffee and store our wine in the fridge. Rustic not luxurious and very comfortable. Enjoyed drinking a glass of vine on the front porch listening to the cardinals and seeing the deer.

This property boasts a great combination of rustic cabin experience and close access to town. My two young children were delighted by the experience, especially sitting by the fireplace on one cold night. My communication with the manager was top notch, and he really went the extra mile to make sure we had what we needed. We are hoping to book this property again in the near future.

Coziest visit we’ve had in a while!

We loved the warm, cozy vibe of the house! My kiddos really loved where the property was - seeing deer, cows, and other wildlife during the mornings and evenings. Very clean. Comfortable beds. Looking forward to staying again.

You are minutes away from the main street of Fredricksburg, but feel like you are away from everything in a rustic cabin like oasis. The porch opens up to wide open countryside. A very quiet and relaxing experience. Loved every minute of our time here. The host was incredibly helpful and communicated very well.

What a fun place to stay! The charm of an old rustic cabin but all the comforts of home! Close to town. Easy access. Great communication with owner. He made it as easy for us old folks as possible! Many thanks! Highly recommend and would definitely stay again!

Quite cozy but not the best

The exterior of this property is horrible. Looks abandoned and has not been kept up. For the price, it's not worth it. Interior was layered in dust but was comfortable for the most part. Just old and dusty is the best way to describe. Needs a very good cleaning. Location is OK.

Cabin was nice. Not far from Main street in Fredericksburg, easy access. Main floor bedroom was a nice surprise. Quiet and peaceful area.
