We had a wonderful stay! The back porch was our favorite spot to where we enjoyed our meals, played games, and listened and watched the wildlife. The communication with our host was excellent and the whole process was so easy.

It’s a nice little cabin in a great location. The view out the back deck is outstanding. Everything we needed was included, communication was clear and complete and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Highly recommend.

The cabin is tastefully decorated which gave it a feeling of home leaving me feeling comfortable and relaxed. That's why I was there. To relax, decompress and reset. Mission accomplished! Everything you will need is there, just bring the food. The back deck has a nice view and is very private. I spent most of my time on that deck, just relaxing. As for downsides, only 2. The walk down to the creek was a fairly steep downhill with questionable footing. With some work they could use the stones there to make rudimentary steps and make it much safer. The second was furniture size. I'm 6'3" with the build of a power lifter. I dared not sit in several of the chairs inside for fear of breaking them. That really didn't become an issue for me since I spent my time on the deck. As for my wife, she's 5'0" and fit in everything just fine. She also loved the cabin. We would definitely rent it again in the future!

We had a lovely stay. The home is impeccably clean and comfortable. The location is central and no more rhan 10 minutes to any of the shops and restaurants. The back porch was even more beautiful and peaceful than in the pictures.

Creekside cabin was perfect for me and my wife. Very cozy and the cabin had everything we needed. The outside deck in the back overlooking the creek and pine trees was an amazing view! Communication with the host was 10/10! We'll definitely stay again!

Kitchen has everything you need. The back patio and the close hiking path was a treat. Only issue we had was the front lock(hard to open). I recommend this as a really good place to stay.

The kitchen is very well stocked. All you need to make meals during your stay. Bring starter for the fireplace, and a lighter. The beds were comfortable. The deck was worth the stay, but the house is very dark all day. Also, I asked immediately after booking if they had a DVD player in the house. That was important for us. They said yes, Once we arrived, the player wasn't working. There were several questions we had when we called to get some direction. We were told the DVD player was probably unplugged. They knew we are both 80 years old, and we could not pull out the TV stand or get down with a flashlight to connect electronics. There was no offer of help. We asked them where the damper was in the fireplace, since we couldn't find one. We've always made sure of this before starting a fire. They said they'd never had a request about this. We were on our knees several times trying to find it. Finally, we just took a chance on using the fireplace. No help was offered. Finally, the lockbox directions were incomplete. We finally opened it, but were not able to close it before asking for assistance.

We are disappointed by this review because several of the claims made are simply not accurate and do not reflect the communication we had with the guest. We communicated with the guest during their stay regarding the fireplace, DVD player, and lockbox. When the guest contacted us, we were out having dinner, but we still responded via phone call and assisted them. During that conversation, the guest specifically indicated that everything was okay. The claim that we were aware of their age and failed to offer assistance is also inaccurate. We take our responsibilities as hosts seriously and welcome legitimate feedback, but we also believe it is important to correct statements that misrepresent what actually occurred.

Amazing location and deck! Property is well kept, clean, open and super close to all things but tucked away in the woods enough to feel like you’re not nearby. Host was responsive and great- we will be back again!
