Spectacular weekend getaway

We had an absolutely wonderful time - the accomodation is comfortable and clean, the alpaca are adorable, and the hosts are lovely. Breakfast was a real highlight, as well as the views. We will definitely be coming back to stay again!

It's a charming off grid stay, perfect to unplug and explore the area from, or use the tracks on site or just chill out and enjoy the hot tub and it's beautiful surroundings, under the stars in the evening is wonderous, it's a magnificent spot and hosted by lovely friendly people. Oh and Alpacka's are a bonus treat to enjoy walking with or watching

Delightful Experience

The stay was so delightful and memorable. The guest suite, the alpacas, the breakfast on the patio with a stunning view were all fabulous. It’s a farm stay with quirky edges but totally comfortable and I’d go back in a heartbeat. The area of Golden Bay is now our favourite part of New Zealand and we’re so glad we found it.

Glorious bountiful simplicity

Highlights: getting to know the alpacas, chickens and dog.....and the owners who are very kind but unobtrusive. Relaxing and unplugging ...... off the grid Yummy breakfasts with ingredients gathered on the property Starlight hot tub with just the sounds of cicadas and the creek Really remote with beautiful scenery yet so much to do in the area We will definitely be back! Rural paradies with amazing host

Nat and Grant have the friendliest chickens with the strongest personalities we have ever met. But also the alpacas, ducks and even the hosts themselves are wonderful to spend time with. ;) The spacious property is an ideal place to relax and enjoy nature. The lovingly homemade breakfast was always a highlight for a great start into the day.

We had a wonderful weekend at the Alpaca farm. The eco-cabin is really comfortable and easy to feel at home in. The jacuzzi is really nice. The garden, the scenery and the animals are incredible: you feel like you've stepped out of time. The breakfast is very good, even if the time at which it is served is fixed (no change possible). The hosts are very friendly and give very good advice on visiting the magnificent region. The only thing to watch out for is accessibility: if you don't have a 4x4, it's really complicated to get to the farm. Fantastic holiday spot

Can not speak highly enough of our stay. We were warmly greeted on arrival and walked through our accommodation so we new where everything was and how it all worked. Our hosts were amazing you couldn't meet nicer people. So if you are looking for a amazing spot to chill this is the place.

Fantastic place to get away from it all

Great escape

Lovely little spot. Being off grid really allowed us to focus on ourselves and relaxing. We were even allowed to take the pet. Very friendly hosts.

Peace and quiet!

Had such a lovely stay, hosts definitely go above and beyond to make sure you have the best stay. Peace and quiet soaking in a hot tub is a highlight. Definitely keen to visit again!
