Chapelle dans un endroit paisible, évasion idilique pour les couples et beaucoup d'intimité

Cette chapelle wesleyenne a été convertie il y a quelques années, une cuisine et une salle de bain complètes ont été aménagées, ainsi qu'une mezzanine pour abriter une belle chambre avec placard et commode. Il se sent très spacieux en raison de la conception ouverte.
Le salon est plus confortable, et surtout chaud en hiver, grâce à un brûleur de bûches qui travaille dur (premier panier de bûches inclus). Tous sauvegardés au besoin avec chauffage au sol et sèche-serviettes. Les planchers du rez-de-chaussée sont finis avec de superbes tuiles d'ardoise noire et les fenêtres sont très grandes, laissant entrer beaucoup de lumière. Les stores et les rideaux sont adaptés pour ceux qui veulent de l'intimité, y compris un store occultant dans la chambre. Nous avons installé un éclairage faible dans les escaliers, ce qui facilite les déplacements nocturnes en bas sans réveiller votre partenaire.
Il y a une salle à manger avec table et chaises, et un buffet où nous cachons tous ces petits livres d'informations touristiques, des jeux ou des articles de lecture, sans oublier une place pour la télévision!
Beaucoup de meubles d'extérieur autour du patio, avec barbecue et parasol pendant les mois d'été, lorsque nos fleurs fleurissent comme un jardin de campagne.

Absolutely wonderful stay.

This place is a little gem. Peaceful, clean and cosy. Everything you require for a relaxing break. Plenty to do in the area. Stayed for a few days. Cant wait to visit again.

Cottage stay

This is truly amazing property, lovely and quiet and has everything you need for a long or short stay. Well equipped.short trip to local shop and great view of the night sky without light pollution.

Lovely rural location

Perfect quiet accommodation for couples

Was perfect for a three night (or longer) stay for couples in a quiet location in the edge of the Lincolnshire Wolds. Easy driving distance to Boston, Lincoln and Skegness and other attractions. Great pub food including Sunday Roast at the Coach House pub at the end of the road. Would stay there again

Perfect Coziness

Love this little converted chapel in the middle of the Lincolnshire countryside. We spent a long weekend relaxing there in front of the wood burning stove. I can’t fault anything about the place and I hope we can go back again soon.

perfect

property is perfect, exactly as advertised, cold outside in february but very cozy in the property. Plenty of logs made available for a log fire, immaculate conversion from a disused methodist chapel. Would definitely stay again when in the area.

Absolutely perfect

The Chapel is a beautiful place, so peaceful inside and out and Margaret is a very friendly owner. The property was very clean and welcoming and the welcome gifts were most unexpected but much appreciated. If you want a little hideaway from the world, but with civilization in easy reach, I would thoroughly recommend a stay. I definately plan to visit again!

Perfect setting

My husband and I settled on a trip to England for our 10th wedding anniversary, and this chapel was the perfect place to rest and relax and recharge. The chapel was perfect for 2 people with plenty of space on the first floor to stretch out, and a cozy bedroom upstairs with a nice view of the night sky out the sky light window. We loved our time in the chapel and would love to get a chance to return some day.

Very relaxing weekend

The property was clean, well maintained and fully equiped (including a welcoming bottle of wine). The surrounding area was extremely quiet and the mild weather allowed us to sit and eat outside whilst watching the rabbits and birds. Although it's fairly isolated, Spilsby is a short drive away. Margaret (the host) was always quick to reply to any queries.

Absolutely wonderful stay

My husband and I stayed here for a few nights for our honeymoon and it was absolutely faultless - clean, light, airy and surrounded by idyllic surroundings and peace and quiet - just what we wanted ! We plan on coming back for our wedding anniversary next year :-) Margaret kindly gifted a nice bottle of champers which was greatly appreciated, and also recommended Huttoft Beach which was a lot quieter than the hustle and bustle of Skegness/Mablethorpe etc Thank you again, and we’ll see you again next year !

Romantic getaway Birthday

We had the most amazing stay at the chapel . From arrival to finish it was simply amazing and peacefully prefect , excellent maid service with nothing to fault . We loved the personal touches and beautiful idyllic setting with views and sky’s to take us away from the usual hustle and bustle of busy lives . We explored the surrounding areas and walks finishing back at the lovely cosy chapel. We will miss it very much and look forward to returning in the future . A real gem and credit to the owner ! Wonderful, stylish cottage

What a lovely cottage, one of the best we've ever had! When you see the condition it was in before it was turned into a cottage, you have to admire the skills of the people who made it into this nice, modern holiday cottage. If the weather had been better, we would have been able to enjoy its garden even more because there are plenty of places outside, where you could sit in the sun. The road to the cottage is a bumpy ride but that's part of the charm, I suppose. Margaret's descriptions were clear and we found it straight away. Inside, it's remarkably spacious and well-equiped. Certainly a place where we would love to go again.

Karakteristieke woning met veel aandacht voor detail

Van afstand lijkt de woning klein, maar bij binnenkomst blijkt het verrassend ruim. Alle ruimte is sfeervol en handzaam benut, met behoud van karakter. De inrichting is keurig en schoon.

Comfort and style on the edge of the Fens

The conversion of the Chapel has been done with a great deal of thought, imagination and attention to detail and comfort. It is well-equipped and immaculately clean. Touches of luxury like the shower, the soft, fluffy white towels, the bed linen and a supremely comfortable bed add to the enjoyment of a stay here. It is well placed for trips to Lincoln, Louth, Boston and the coast as well as being very close to the beautiful Wolds. Folders of information about chapel and the area make it easy to plan how to fill your days. Sitting out on the small, sheltered patio with a drink is a lovely way to end the day. Margaret has created a lovely place for a peaceful get-away.

Bliss

We had a blissful 5 days and enjoyed every moment. Loved the accommodation, the tranquil surroundings and the 'Big Skies'. Looking forward to returning in the winter months when we can try out the wood burner.

Such delightful guests, communication was perfect from day 1, and I am very pleased their stay was so blissful. Frances and David left the Chapel Immaculate, as if it was their own, I couldn't be more happy, thank you both.
