Thanks Anne-Marie, We pride ours in trying to make the cottage clean and spotless especially the bathrooms. The rural setting is very quiet and with unobstructed mountain views of Maungataturari Mountain - the world's largest fenced eco-sanctuary. The ancient forest is home to over 730 native species including some of New Zealand's most unique and endangered wildlife such as kiwi and kākāpō

Peaceful and quiet location at the top of the hill. Has wifi available, but I switch it off. There's no other WiFi or 5G towers around, so it's great for those whose bodies are sensitive to it. Peaceful view outside surrounded by green pastures and cattle. Stayed here for over a week. This was our second time here. It's just a short walk to the Lake and the Sir Dons Rowland CentreThank you to Sue

Glad you enjoyed your second stay with us. Quiet NZ countryside but close to the main town of Cambridge offers a mixture for all guests needs. The unobstructive views of Maungatautari Mountain are constantly changing throughout the day and as you have captured can be seen directly from the property.

Our hosts were welcoming and always available if needed.The accommodation was immaculate with everything one could need and the beds were super comfy! The outlook was rural, restful and private..We really enjoyed the relaxed feel and the park like surroundings by Lake Karapiro rowing club with the Podium Cafe available for brunches .
