Host lives upstairs so you won’t have the hose to yourself. Inside was as pictured. Pet friendly but not a great place for taking them outside. No Mountain View’s from porch.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. The interior being as pictured is great to hear. While the lower level porch doesn't have a long range view, the main upper deck offers a year round mountain view and is available to guests anytime. Pet-friendly guests have a grassy area right outside their door for walks, plus nearby streets and a community dog park for longer outings. We do travel frequently, typically December through March, and the space, including the private sauna, remains fully available to guests during those times. We've also refreshed the deck and added new porch furniture and a fire pit to enhance the outdoor experience for future stays.

Beautiful Place

We loved our stay at this property. The home was conveniently located, clean, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We’d highly recommend for a small family.

Perfect place to stay if skiiing on Beech Mountain

This was such a cozy place for us to come back to after skiing all day! Would 10/10 recommend for a couple’s ski retreat. House was well furnished and had all the amenities we needed. Would stay here again if going back to Beech!

Loved being only 5 minutes to the slopes. Make sure you have 4 wheel drive if it is snowy or icy.

Loved the deer visiting daily, close to slopes. Clean and comfortable. The hosts were very nice too!

We came into town to snow ski at Beech Mountain. Home is very close <5min to the slope parking lot. Very convenient location.

Scenic, Beech Cabin

Absolutely loved staying in the downstairs section of this beautiful cabin! The layout, decor, and amenities were all above and beyond. Very scenic area with tons of wildlife! Location is very close to one of the ski lifts and only a short drive to Banner Elk. Our hosts provided all the information we needed and were excellent communicators! Highly recommend!!

Anniversary get away

The cabin we stayed at was exactly as described but even better in person. Beautifully decorated, very clean and extremely comfortable. Our hosts were great and checked with us to make sure we were happy and had everything we needed. Not one detail was overlooked. Would highly recommend this place and would definitely consider staying there again.

Cozy and Comfortable

We loved our time over the MLK weekend in this unit - cozy and comfortable - perfect for a small family of 3. The hosts were available for us during the snow storm - they had the driveway plowed for us to keep us safe - suggestions on activates and food dinner suggestions to taste the local flavor!
