Julie is an excellent host! The house was one of the best if not the very best stocked rental we’ve ever had the pleasure of staying at. It was perfect for our weekend get away. And would be great for extended stays as well. It has everything you need for a successful beach stay. We will definitely come back when we get a chance to visit the island again. I wish I could give MORE than 5 stars! Immaculate, well appointed—you will be in want of nothing. The owner, Julie, provided the best service I’ve ever experienced with a VRBO host. She even provided a bottle of wine and went out her way to accommodate us. Really quiet location steps from the beach. They welcome dogs (ours loved the fully fenced in raised deck where they could survey everything around them). We will definitely be back!

I and my family enjoyed this rental.It was easy to check in. The house was well equipped with both internal things and things for beach activities and barbequing. The AC worked well. All worked without incident.The one thing I did not feel good about was that the pictures left you with the impression that you were right on the beach with an unobstructed view when in reality there is another house between the rental and beach which greatly obstructs the view of the beach. Interesting when you go on Google maps this house did not even show up.So I paid a price that I thought put me on the beach when in reality I was one house away from the beach. I would have paid alot less for that or found a house actually with an unobstructed view.

Absolutely perfect weekend stay! So many extras in the home that were already provided! Water, soda in the fridge, a bottle of wine and fresh flowers on the table when we walked in. Super easy check in and out. Just steps away from the beach. We will definitely try to be back!

What a place! Decorated beautifully and had everything extra we needed during our stay! Even a pack and play and high chair for my baby. Beautiful views from the porch and host was extremely responsive and welcoming. Just a short walk to the beach and we can’t wait to stay here again!

Wonderful location basically on the beach and out of the way from the busy part of Galveston, yet still close enough to do everything we wanted. Communication was excellent with our little ac hiccup, which was quickly handled. Thorough Enjoyment

Our group stayed at the house for a week. The house is as advertised, very comfortable and very well stocked. The owner was available and very easy to communicate with (even late night while having a VRBO booking glitch). Definitely will stay again!

We loved our stay. This house is so great for kids, with tons of games, double bunk beds, and beach toys and chairs. We had everything we needed and were very comfortable. The house was very clean. Views were also beautiful..

Great location right by the beach!

Our family took a beach vacation at this lovely location - the deck was perfect for reading and listening to the waves. Everything was set up nicely for guests with all the house things and beach things you could need. I would chose this property again!

A wonderful place to stay. Steps from the beach. The cottage is well stocked and decorated tastefully. The owner makes sure yiu have everything you need. The fresh flowers were a welcoming touch. We are locally based residents, living within a 60 minute drive of Xanadu Beach Cottage. We clean and maintain the property ourselves and love to provide a more personal touch to our guest's vacation.

Bermuda Beach is lovely smaller beach community, the residents and beach home owners do a lot to keep it a beautiful family orientated location. There is a smaller parking area on the beach as you drive in but the rest of the beach is vehicle free.
