Located on the quiet beachfront in Bermuda Beach, this charming and secluded cottage offers luxury furnishings and unobstructed coastal views. Perfect for a girls' weekend, a couples' getaway, families or long-term renters who want to embrace island living, the home offers everything needed for a comfortable stay, including modern conveniences, a chef's kitchen, and comfortable, refined furnishings.

Salt Air Cottage offers plenty of options for the most essential reason guests visit: relaxation! Take in the ocean views from sprawling lounge chairs on the wraparound deck and enjoy water views from every room in the house. Outdoor dining options include patio seating and picnic tables. Be sure to make time for a short nap listening to the rush of the waves from the hammock!

Inside, your private retreat is updated with designer decorative touches, newly updated furniture and elements that invoke Galveston's storied history.

The cottage is updated with conveniences that include a new kitchen appliances, crisp updated linens, a washer and dryer, and an outdoor shower. You can pack light when you come to Salt Air Cottage - it's appointed with everything you need for an escape to the beach, including boogie boards, bocce ball, sand toys, and more.

We have 2 cameras outdoors underneath the house to protect your vehicles and against uninvited visitors. No cameras are upstairs, in the house or in private areas.

It was a great location, right by the water! The long, covered porch with lounge chairs was our favorite part of the house. Our host was so responsive and prepared. Our two sons *loved* the bunk bed room with fun beach-themed books and decor. Definitely would stay again!

Perfect spot for a get away to Galveston. Cottage is the cutest Very well stocked with kitchen essentials, lots of board games and puzzles, TV apps to curl up with a movie or keep up with your fav shows and a blu ray player just in caseHosts were very helpful and made sure we had a great stayView is beautiful Lots of out door seating including a picnic table to enjoy the cool evening breeze on the back porch and lounging out front to watch the sunrise/sunset or just enjoy the waves and fresh airClose access to beach makes it so easy and you dont have to lug a bunch of stuff because the walk back is so easy and the outside shower makes washing off sand easyFar enough away from hustle and bustle but close enough to make the drive in to shopping and food easyClose to lots of shopping, restaurants, grocery store, candy stores, ice creamReally the perfect spotOnly downsides we noticed were no lounging chairs to take to the beach but the plastic ones worked fine and mosquitos were no joke like they were even inside our car so invest in some spray which we didnt think about for evenings but just a helpful tip House is so worth it and everything you are looking for for a relaxing beach trip in Galveston

Everything was just as advertised.. we had a great time! The view from our bedroom windows and the porch were fantastic. They are super responsive if you have an issue. We had a water pressure question and it was problem solved quickly! We will definitely come back!!!

Super cute, salty little place right on the beach!! Very clean, comfortable, well appointed. Short drive to restaurants and shopping, but away from the bustle of the East End. Only drawback for us was the construction next door; the neighbors are building a house from the ground up, and beachside properties are often close together. We flew in on a Thursday and out on a Sunday—it’s quiet on weekends and evenings. We would definitely stay here again when that’s all wrapped up.

Good location and great beach. Nicely decorated and well stocked kitchen. Washer/dryer were a big plus. Excellent communication. Owners were very gracious after we informed them of a new home being built next door; noise was not an issue for us because we were out n about during their working hours. Our dogs loved the beach/ocean!

This home was outstanding!! Have stayed in homes on the beach here many times, but never had so much attention from owners and so many extras such as coffee pods, bathroom extras and so on. My family and I loved this home and plan to return in the future. You can't get any more beachfront than this!! Spectacular!! Thank you Salt Air Cottage

Unable to be outside as someone was building next door daylight to dusk. You could touch the house being built from theirs, so zero privacy outside. Constant noise from generators/hammers. Not their fault, but made it unenjoyable as we were stuck indoors. They finished day we left. Mix-up with cleaning crew. Cabin not cleaned. Had to go elsewhere until ready. Had surgery week prior, drove 4.5 hours. Not how I expected trip to start, but owners quickly took care of it. Beach access was fabulous. At night it was very quiet. Nice area.

While the house was well appointed and the location was wonderful, we were not told by the property manager until THE DAY we arrived that there was a large home being constructed a few feet away, next door.So if you are planning to go the beach in the next several months, do not expect to hear the waves of the ocean and the seagulls. While in the rental you will hear hammers, electric saws and drills, all the stuff….even on Saturday.Sunday was quiet!
