I would consider a better cleaning team don’t get me wrong but on first glimpse it was great. it took me a minute to see thing that could have been cleaned a bit better. The left glass in the carpet up stairs, beer caps by the laundry area. I also found a stuffed bear and a charger at the head of a bed. The comforters in the kids room needed to washed before my kids slept in them. I just think a few areas were rushed while cleaning.

Thank you for your review and for highlighting the cleanliness and convenient location — we're glad to hear those aspects met your expectations. We appreciate your feedback regarding the fans and outdoor seating. Just to clarify, the home is accurately represented in the listing photos, including the number of fans, so guests can have a clear view before booking. Regarding the AC settings, we maintain a temperature range that ensures both guest comfort and system efficiency. We’ve also noted your comments about the toilets and will have our maintenance team inspect them right away. Your input helps us improve, and we hope to have the chance to host you again in the future. Warm regards, Wonder Vacation Homes

Spring Break 2025

Property is well located if your going to the theme parks. Family enjoyed the community pool/lazy river/splash pad. Beds were comfortable. Kitchen well enough equipped, would have preferred a pod type coffee maker and some pans could use replacing, scratched Teflon is not ideal. I would also suggest some plastic bowl, plates, cup for the very young kids. The private pool was nice, but could also be better equipped, no lounge chairs or table and chairs to eat at. Overall we enjoyed our stay and the unit is as described.

Great location, nearby amenities, would stay again

The property was very much like the description. The location in Kissimmee was perfect for us and the bedrooms were very spacious. The plunge pool was perfect to cool off on the hot days, and the community area was a nice treat. It is about 10 minutes to walk there from the house, which is on the outer area of the whole community. Sunshine on the backyard almost all day and plenty of parking for the two vehicles we had. There was an issue with the master bed which should have been fixed before the next guests arrived but it was fine for us during the week we were there. Would definitely consider this complex, unit and area again. Rental company (WonderHomes) kept in touch the whole duration of our stay.

Pictures are accurate and clean minor issues

The place was very nice and spacious. We only had minor issues that were reported the 1st couple of days. Wall chipping and dirt stains (need fresh coat of paint), walk in smell, old shower lining curtain upstairs, and not able to use the pool 3 out of 15 days (broken filter). On positive note the company was great at responding and trying to fix the problems. They were polite and helpful.

I VRBO for all my travel over two nights. I will not hesitate to rent in Storey Lake or with Wonder Vacation Homes in the future. This rental was easy-peasy to check in and out of, the pictures are accurate, the condo is clean, comfortable, and roomy, the neighborhood is clean and safe, and it is a convenient location to all the attractions (especially Disney).Every one of us will have different needs/likes/dislikes. Here are my tips for more enjoyment with this unit. 1. Bring your absolute necessities. If you are a three pillow or sleep with a fan person, bring it. The two big bedrooms have ceiling fans, the double bedrooms do not. The princess room has a tv. The superhero room does not. 2. If you plan on making full meals, bring your must-have kitchen items. The kitchen has the basics (utensils, cups, bowls, pans) but is not meant to be a chef's kitchen. There are A LOT of restaurants around for dining or takeout. 3. The pool is a refreshing dip and relaxing pool. 4ft deep and stays a little cold. If you want it warm, let the company know. 4. Don't be the bug buffet. Florida has a lot of bugs. No matter how clean a unit is, bugs prevail. Don't leave your food out on the counters at night. Take the garbage out daily. Close doors/windows. This goes for every place in FL without discrimination.5. Bring your own wash clothes and bathing soaps. If you need anything, Walmart is right up the road.6. The clubhouse waterpark gets packed by lunch. Walk there if you can.

Nice resort, but the house needs upgrading

The property was in a great location and the Storey Lake resort was great. This is not my first time renting in this resort. The house needs some upgrading. The dinning room chairs are terrible! We could barely eat at the table in fear of falling through the chairs. In addition, the cookware was old and peeling, and the living room footstool/bench seat was caved in. There are some upgrades needed when in comes to the carpet/rugs, etc. Also, I thought that the pool should be cleaned more often. Only about half of the electrical outlets work, and the air conditioning unit did not cool down the house that well. Overall, it was nice but the owner needs to invest some money into the unit for a refresh.

BIG DISAPPOINTMENT

This property was a big disappointment. This property supposed to come with free access to that beautiful clubhouse resort. Which obviously reflects the cost of this house. We went down with our children choosing this property because of the resort with the swimming pools and slides. We enjoyed it for the first week. The next week when we show up the lady at the clubhouse tells us we are no longer allowed to come inside and we need to contact the homeowner. They told us they would have this fixed ASAP and they NEVER. This was a huge embarrassment along with disappointment for our kids as well as ourselves. We were no longer allowed to use the resort for the rest of our trip which was another week long.

Thank you for your feedback, we are very sorry that you had to experience this. The owner was informed about the delay in the HOA payment and it was only because this community just changed their administration. Nothing we say can bring back the time or change the experience but I truly apologize that this happened to you, We have corrected this issue and it will not happen again. If you book with us again, we will offer you a discounted rate. Hope to serve you better next time.

Could have been fabulous

We arrive and everything was great. I inquired prior to arrival that I would have access to Spectrum internet. There was no modem for me to connect to for work. I inquired. They told me it was behind the tv.... it wasn’t. My daughters bed was infested with fire ants and she had sever bites all throughout her belly, chest, back and groin area. I messaged, called, continues to call 2 weeks later. No one responds. Im left on hold indefinately. Also the front door lock worked only sporadically So we were leaving without locking up several times. I’ve been in hospitality most of my adult life and have never experienced such awful customer service before. The unit was great and had the management company handled the situation with respect I would have no issue, but they did the opposite. In no way do I feel the owners are responsible ... it was the management company. Things happen. But I lost a weeks work & the trip was ruined due to my daughter being unable to swim due to the bites.
