As a New Zealand/Utah family with a pinch of Caribbean, we love being near the water, and being together at Bear Lake is our happy place. We designed this stylish modern home to fit the needs of our family and we hope it will work for you too. It’s our comfort place to kick back and relax... where memories are made sitting on the deck surrounded by those we love, watching the kids below playing volleyball, or our family favorite, badminton in the round. Home is wherever we are together. Feel at home at the Kiwi Lake House!

The house is clean, modern and beautiful and is a perfect complement to the amazing views of Bear Lake. Vicki is a gracious host, very responsive, and genuinely makes you want to feel at home. We have stayed here twice and will be back again!

Excellent Accommodations!

We loved our stay at your beautiful home. Everything was clean, well-appointed, and so comfortable. The outdoor games were a nice surprise and a lot of fun! We would love to stay here again during our next Bear Lake vacation.

Most beautiful location

We loved staying at this house! The location was perfect for our big group. There was plenty of parking space too which was nice. The lake view is incredible! We loved waking up early to watch the sunrise. It was absolutely breathtaking. The communication with the host was great and they were nice and accommodating. Definitely would stay here again!

We had an amazing weekend. This house is absolutely beautiful! It’s so well stocked with everything you could possibly need. Vicky, the owner, is amazing to work with. She’s in constant contact, making sure we had everything that we needed. We will definitely stay here again.

Stylish, modern, great host!

We absolutely LOVED our stay at the kiwi house. Vicki was incredible to work with. The check in and and out process was a breeze and Vicki was quick to answer any questions and give us advice. The house itself is gorgeous. Very clean and accommodated out large group with ease. I would 100% recommend this house and would stay here again!

World class property!

I travel a lot and have stayed in dozens of VRBO properties over many years. I have to say this place is among the very best of the best. It’s absolutely stunning with gorgeous views, extremely well maintained and the owners are incredibly helpful and responsive. We’ll be back in the future and if you can find it available you’ll do more than well to book it.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The owners went out of their way to make our stay comfortable and stress free. They were always willing to answer questions and provide help regarding local activities and touristic advice. The pictures don’t do it justice! Bear Lake is beautiful, but I had a hard time extracting myself from the house. Sitting in the living room was so cozy and beautiful! The house was designed to maximize the views and natural light. We came with the entire family and we never felt cramped. Cooking was a joy in the open kitchen. The house is spotless and well stocked. The decor is modern yet cozy. Our family of ten all had space to eat together and be together or apart. The downstairs has a cozy tv area and ping pong table. The Bear Lake area is very friendly. We were also able to easily explore Idaho and Wyoming. After many location suggestions for a romantic proposal, Kiwi House’s balcony with twinkling lights and sweeping views was chosen. We would definitely come back!

The perfect view

This home was absolutely perfect. The view of bear lake was gorgeous. The home was immaculate and has everything we needed. My husband is a must for tv’s in the bedroom. There were not any but in the family areas but it was still amazing. We would definitely do this again. It was perfect, warm, and like staying in a high end hotel but being at home. Can’t go wrong coming here.

The most amazing place to stay!

We held a womens retreat at this house where women from Utah and Idaho came together for connection and healing. The house was the perfect location! The open space was perfect and we loved all the windows and the view. The sunrise over the lake was breathtaking! The house and the view really made our retreat special and Viki was so nice and accommodating. She answered all my questions promptly and was very helpful. We definitely want to come back!

Beautiful property and location

This home is even more lovely than the photos! Beautifully decorated (even the shampoo/conditioner bottles colors coordinate with each bathroom’s color/decor!), spotlessly clean, large open gathering spaces so we never felt crowded, well stocked kitchen, comfortable beds, and the most amazing views! Vicki by far was the most attentive host we’ve ever had over our years of staying in vacation homes. She was so helpful with any questions we had-she even sent pictures of kitchen items when I had questions like is there a crock pot, instant pot, etc. (and yes they have those and more!) I had concerns about our drive up when a major snowstorm hit on our arrival day as our rental car was not all wheel drive and she let us know about usual snow removal practices for the different roads we’d be taking and let us know road conditions as she passed through. (We had no trouble at all as the roads were sanded and cleared-even in the middle of the storm!) We stayed over the Christmas holidays and walked in to find a live, amazingly tall, beautifully adorned and lit Christmas tree that stole the show! The tree along with the other holiday decor truly made us feel as if we were celebrating at home. (Having a white Christmas was a cozy bonus!) The kitchen also greeted us via a large chalkboard (with fantastic “chalkmanship” 😊) telling us to enjoy some raspberry cocoa on them! We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect stay! Thank you Vicki! (I should also mention that she repeatedly offered for her husband to come and shovel the driveway for us. We declined as my husband and sons-in-law easily took care of it. Top notch service!)

Don’t want to tell others about this place so I can keep it for myself!

Can’t say enough good things about this house and Vicki! She was so wonderful to work with in every way. The house was stunning! Beautifully decorated, fully stocked and can’t beat the views!! Our kids all loved the backyard and we loved lovely bedrooms, a huge pantry and everything we needed right at hand. One note is that closets don’t fit pack and plays and there aren’t any pack and plays but that’s not bad just wanted to make it known. We would love to come back again, such a beautiful property!

We loved this house

The property was amazing. It not only is beautiful, it’s clean and so spacious. All of our guests were impressed with the house. We had 4 families and a bunch of kids. There was so much space for them and so much for them to do in the house and backyard. We will 100% stay there again!
