Bridget is a guest that does not understand what she is booking. I left her a good review as she left the property tidy, however now that she has chosen to leave a not so glowing review of our property, other landlords beware! She had not read the terms and conditions prior to entry, therefore called me half an hour away from the property to organise linen for her (which I did). The property is not misrepresented, and lock offs are done according to occupancy and therefore reflected in pricing. Our T & C's clearly state if there is a problem upon entering the property to bring it to our attention, which she did not. As for the clutter she refers to, she is the first guest to make that statement (perhaps the decor was not her style). This is a beach and bush location and spiders are part of the natural environment and ecosystem. We do not like spraying poisons indiscriminately. If you clean the webs they are back tomorrow.Finally,I prefer guests like Bridget never to visit. When you do your best to help and accommodate people like her just not worth it!

Perhaps Samuel confused facts and brevity with rudeness, but after this so-called "man" verbally abused my wife on the phone I had very little to say to him. We can do without these kinds of guests in our tourism industry!

The booking process with Josh went smoothly. The locked cupboards Josh refers to are cupboards where the owner's private property is kept and a separate freestanding cleaner's cupboard in the laundry. Most cupboards are not locked, with all bedroom built-in wardrobes and kitchen utensil/pantry storage open for guests to use as one would expect. When Josh required additional toilet paper, garbage bags, dishwasher powder, etc. they were delivered to him within the hour. Regarding maintenance, the issue that Josh brought to our attention was a loose screw on a sliding door that was easily fixed, so his suggestion that the house had multiple issues is not accurate. We strive to make our guests as comfortable as possible and I'm sure most people find it a bonus to be able to bring their pets with them too!!!

I hope this review helps future hosts. Kunal did not comply with the Terms of Conditions of his stay. Our first guest ever to be unable to return keys to keylock box, he left the property unlocked and keys on the table (stating due to having to depart at 10 am). He said that rushing out of the property did not allow him the time let us know house was left unlocked until well after he had left, via text message. The linen hire that he was required to leave outside for collection was left on the beds. He had trouble connecting to the Wifi and we helped him through that. Finally, when our caretakers attended the property the air-conditioning was left on and set at a ridiculous temperature of 31 degrees and a tap left running in the bathroom.

Evelin decided many things, but substantiating her claims and telling the truth was not amongst them. Nor did she at any point call us or solicit any contact, despite her claims to the contrary. On receiving her bizarre email we contacted not only our cleaners, who promptly attended the property, but also other guests who had recently stayed. All agreed the property was spotless, one describing it as "super clean", another as "beautifully clean", and there was unsurprisingly no mention of spiders. We go out of our way to ensure our guests' comfort and satisfaction, and to respond to any and all questions and requests, as evidenced by the almost unanimous five star ratings we've received to date. You can't please everyone, but dishonest, unsubstantiated, and fanciful reviews like Evelin's should be called out for what they are - complete and utter nonsense! Don't rent to Evelin, it's not worth the trouble.
