We'll be back

Scenery was beautiful and property was private. Felt like we were out in the woods without really being too far away. Check in was a breeze and the home was cozy. Can't wait to stay again.

Deep creek

We really enjoyed staying here, it's a beautiful area and a very comfortable space. Although we couldn't find public access to the lake within walking distance, we especially enjoyed Swallow Falls which was a short drive away.

Convenient, clean, and private

We had a great stay over the 4th of July weekend. Location is perfect for visiting the lake as well as the local parks and trails. The house was cozy and clean with all the amenities and relaxing in the backyard without the sites or sounds of any neighbors was very peaceful. Overall, 10/10 and we will hopefully be back soon!

Staying here was great it was so peaceful and pretty. We were lucky it snowed while we were there which is exactly what we wanted. The only thing I would say negative was the beds. The main bed was comfortable but all the other beds were not very comfortable especially the pull out couch in the loft

Being in the country I guess can be a bit unsettling but because of the seclusion of z Garrett County from the Metropolitan Area, it rarely seems necessary to have security. That being said, it is good for thought. We have to laugh as the security that appears to be needed is to keep the wildlife out rather than people. Would love to host a return visit if you are up for another adventure into the back country!"

The owners contacted me a day before my check in. I had tried to contact them weeks beforehand to clarify some issues, but they never got my emails or responded. Phoning didn’t work either. Otherwise things in the house were fine and comfortable. And once I had checked in the owner was very responsive and helpful. A good stay!

One of the best places we have stayed!

This house was as described. It was beautiful, clean and fully equipped. There is pretty much any appliance or kitchen tool that you would need, provided. The owners even had skewers for making smores at the firepit. Our first morning there I sent a message to the owners to let them know that the regular coffee maker wasn't working. They showed up the next day with a new coffee maker! You also can not beat the property. Our first night there were 12 deer in the yard. Every morning I would sit on the porch, drink my coffee and watch the deer, and listen to the birds. The house is surrounded by woods, so you are sure to see/hear lots of wildlife. Our family will absolutely stay at this house again!

Property and Owner Wonderful

Our time there was wonderful. Weather delightful enough to keep windows and fans on. House is Beautiful, quiet set back off the road. Close enough to town but not on top of anyone else The last day there we ended up locked out of the cabin several hours and never could get ahold of the rental company Evolve. No response and no matter how many times we called no answer.

Beautiful home located right outside of town! Private and quiet! Very roomy and clean!

We had a blast this weekend staying in Oakland Maryland! We rented a boat that was just 10-15 minute drive into town! We enjoyed that the home was private and quiet! We will definitley be back!
