A gorgeous home in the rustic Hill Country minutes away from recreational Guadalupe River State Park, and a short drive from Historic Gruene, Boerne and San Antonio. Combined this with the central location to many multicultural activities, shopping, dining, and outdoor recreation and you've found the perfect family-friendly Texas Hill Country retreat. Secluded 5 acre ranch property near a beautiful wedding venue and stock pond. Go shop nearby or stay here and enjoy the outdoor amenities. Perfect for a romantic weekend getaway or makes great accommodations for wedding parties, group retreats, or family reunions. You will love the tranquil surroundings. Oaks Ranch is a great place to make memories. You will fall in love with all the animals at the working horse ranch. A stock pond for fishing is included.

Perfect place for extended family

Rented this house for my daughter and her family for a wedding weekend of my other daughter. It was awesome having room and space for everyone and my grandsons loved the property with its animals that would greet us every morning.

Awesome Stay!

We recently stayed at both of these lovely properties, and could not have been happier! Our daughter was married at Lost mission , which was a short drive away, and it was the perfect place for the bridesmaids to come and have their hair and make up done! Our family members had their four year old grandson with them and they loved feeding the donkeys and the ducks and just being out in the lovely countryside. We would definitely recommend!

An awesome ranch in Texas Hill Country

We rented both houses,Oaks Ranch and Haven House. We had people from both sides of our family for a reunion and viewing the eclipse. Unfortunately, it was cloudy on eclipse day, but we enjoyed being together. Both houses were clean and spacious. They had everything that we needed. The kids really enjoyed the carrots to feed the donkeys. Also, making s'mores. The grounds were beautiful! We enjoyed watching the donkeys, cats, ducks and turtles. The fountain in the pond made sitting in one of the swings even more peaceful. If we're ever back in the area, we'd love to stay again!

Great getaway

My husband and I used this place for a small family get together to celebrate our anniversary. Everyone commented on how beautiful the house was. The adults enjoyed playing horseshoes and the kiddos enjoyed feeding the donkeys. It’s definitely a place we would happily go back to.

Perfect for family retreat

The owners are supper nice, very thoughtful and easy to work with. Our kids loved talking with rhe donkeys each morning, bunk beds super fun. Cottage has high ceilings and excellent views. We had a fire, kids loved glamping. Went into Boerne, much preferred over Fredericksburg, less touristy. Great trip.

We loved staying at this property for the weekend. It's so quiet and peaceful and having all the animals around is really special. The house had everything we needed and we loved all the outdoor space.

Family break away

The animals and the hosts were amazing. My daughter loves horses and this rental was simply the best. Added to that the donkeys were funny and the bunnies super cute. The pond is stocked and I can attest to 5 good sized bass caught within only a few hours. Kids had a blast pulling smaller fish with bread. All in all we will be going back.

Enjoyed stating at this great place near Guadalupe River State Park. The place was well furnished, comfortable, clean, and quiet. Enjoyed the animals roaming the property. The owners were responsive to our needs when we needed to move the reservation.

Beautiful getaway!

We enjoyed our stay, and hope to return soon. Our kids enjoyed the ducks and donkeys. The house was clean and super comfortable. We didn't see the horses to much, but we were gone a lot also. Definitely very relaxing place. On our list to come back to and spend more time enjoying the comfort of the house and beautiful scenery all around.

Beautiful home in the Hill Country!

We LOVED our stay on this beautiful property!! The donkeys were so friendly and were a huge hit with out guests! We have a friend getting married at Park 31 in 2022 and she was happy to be able to scope out the property for future booking on the weekend of her wedding. Will definitely be returning and couldn’t recommend this property enough to others!

Amazing Country Living!!!

Our family loved staying at this beautiful country home! Great location, beautiful land, nicely constructed home! The house was so comfortable for our family of 6 and we loved everything about the property. The donkeys welcomed us daily and so did the horses. We were thankful to stay at this pet friendly home and would highly recommend staying here!! The owners are wonderful and very responsive! Family Getaway in Nature

We had a great time relaxing with all the sweet animals. Our kids loved exploring the property and spent the whole time outside. The house was very cozy and we enjoyed sitting on the porch looking out at the pond. It was the perfect location at only 5 minutes from the park entrance. We would recommend this place to anyone who wants a country getaway or a neat place to stay while visiting the area.

Haven House

Our family decided to do things differently this Halloween. We decide to rent a nice property and enjoy the outdoors. Haven House was the perfect fit. We roasted s’mores, told scary stories, fed horses (gorgeous horses btw), fed the donkeys (they are the cutest family of 3 including a small one), and fed the ducks at the pond (yes they have one on the property!) We also enjoyed the different swing and sitting areas on the property and played corn hole and horseshoe. We drove a short distance to Boerne to shop at the boutique and antique shops. If I had one complaint it would be the dog hair inside the house. At first we didn’t mind it but, then we noticed it was everywhere. Including the shower mat in the restroom. It was all over our clothes and feet. We don’t own house pets so it was a bit much. But OVERALL, it was such a wonderful experience staying at Haven House⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
