Gorgeous Industrial Loft with Open Concept


Welcome to our beautiful open concept industrial loft. Upon entering our cozy abode, you'll find a clean, bright, well decorated home with many great amenities where you can kick back, relax and enjoy your stay.

Walking in you'll be greeted by 20' ceilings, beautiful polished concrete flooring, lots of windows and light, steel railings with many concrete and wood elements throughout. This place is like nothing else you will see in the Des Moines area. We hope you love our loft as much as we do.

The fully lit bathroom will wow anyone with the designer concrete sink, spacious tiled shower and large mirror. Getting ready in this bathroom feels like luxury.

The large living room is a great place to kick your feet up and has ample space to spread out and relax. It has a 65" flat screen TV with an extremely comfortable sectional couch and brown leather chair.

Moving through the kitchen area, you will find a spacious 4' x 10' wood island table with 6 bar stools. The beautiful gray, soft close cabinets house all the kitchen utensils you will need (pots, pans, silverware, cups, plates, etc.). The kitchen has all Whirlpool appliances, a 30" gas cook top, fridge, oven and microwave.

Upstairs there are two overhead lofts with really comfortable King sized beds in each carpeted room. The master loft has a 65" TV and a large closet. Stretch out and get a good nights sleep in one of these cozy rooms.

Our loft is in a perfect centralized location for any traveler and visitor. We are conveniently off of I-80 and I-235. Since we are off I-80 there is some interstate noise. To mitigate this, we installed thicker drywall and had our walls spray foamed for more insulation. There is also a box fan in each bedroom which covers up any interstate noise you may hear.

Whether you are passing through or staying awhile, you'll be able to get anywhere in Des Moines and the surrounding area within 10 - 25 minutes. We are 5 minutes from the Prairie Trail District where you will find lots of great dining and entertainment options. And only 10 minutes to downtown Des Moines.

Absolutely beautiful! The cleanest property we have ever stayed at in all of our travels! Host was welcoming and always available. He also checked in on us to see how we were doing. The property had everything we could have ever wanted and more! We can't wait to come back! Inside of this place was beyond what the pictures showed. Really nice interior with a transitional modern feel. Spent the week here while on business and it was the perfect spot to get around town easily.Everything was extremely comfortable and it was well accommodated.

Perfect Place to Stay

This is a hidden gem! Perfect place for a getaway if you’re heading to Des Moines or surrounding area! Space is amazing, everything you need to cook. This amazing industrial loft was just as advertised and served as a perfect base camp while we explored the area and our son prepared for the Des Moines IronMan. This modern, well-designed space provided all the comforts of home in a unique package. The unit was very spacious and a perfect place to unwind after a busy day of exploring. The upstairs double loft was cozy and the bedding was very comfortable. While there is some highway noise at night, we still managed to sleep well and felt rested each day. The parking was great and all of our destinations were only 10-15 minutes away. I would definitely recommend this property. The owner communicated well and check-in and check-out was a breeze.

We loved the open concept atmosphere, modern design and neutral decor of this loft. The kitchen was very well equipped and had absolutely everything we needed and more. The beds and linens were very comfortable. The owner was very responsive and checked in on us occasionally to see how things were going. We were fortunate to actually meet Jason as he had to pop over to attend to a small maintenance issue. My boyfriend and I were in town for the balloon festival in Indianola and the location gave us quick access to the freeway. We really enjoyed our stay here and would definitely stay again in the future!!

Great getaway with good internet!

Great getaway in a modern loft! My mom and sister and I enjoyed our stay immensely! The kitchen was well stocked for cooking and the bathroom was amazing. Everything was clean and modern and we loved the huge island! The internet was amazing! My sister attended an all day zoom conference for work while at this loft and had no connection issues. The only downside was some highway noise in the distance, but we found it overall relaxing like white noise. Great spot! I highly recommend. We have already discussed coming back sometime.

High quality place, great hosts

My family of 4 and I stayed here for the 1/2 IRONMAN race and it was a great experience. 5-stars across the board. Super high quality finish, furniture, appliances, etc. it was much better than a great suite at a hotel and about a 13-15 min easy drive to downtown. The only challenge was highway noise at night but we use white noise machines and the hosts provide fans. They have a basketball hoop as well and big side mowed field we played frisbee in our down time. which my girls loved :)

Beautifully decorated home away from home

Jason was great, checked in daily and made sure everything was going okay. Like the other reviews, I do agree that it was loud being located right next to the interstate. If that’s not a concern, you will love this home!

Perfect hideaway for a family trip!

This booking is exactly what we were looking for! Something fun and modern with quick access to the Des Moines area. The full kitchen area allowed us to prep food for our daily trips and cook breakfast to start the day out right. The owners did it right with a nice large tv viewing area with a smart TV, spacious bathroom and rainfall shower, plus having both beds on opposite side of the loft made it feel like two separate rooms (beds were so comfy!). I would give this a 10 star rating if I could. The owners were amazing to work with and truly care about their property/the people coming to stay.
