We had a great holiday at Stefano's place. Really quiet surroundings, very nice pool area, clean suite and kitchen with all amenities, close to Ostuni and many other places to visit. Stefano is very discreet but also very helpfull when needed.

Perfect getaway

We had nine days and the facilities, host, and authentic rustic charm was perfect. If your looking to unwind and relax, this is the place!!!!!It’s very close to Ostuni and therefore easy to drive to numerous amazing coastal towns and venture inland to places like Matera, and Lecce.Stefano and his wife were very helpful, available, but never intrusive and you’re kind of envious of their lifestyle.

Absolutely heavenly. Beautifully nestled within olive groves. Stefano is a font of knowledge. Very helpful and always out early morning cleaning the pool and making sure the grounds are clean and tidy. The bedroom and bathroom very clean and comfortable. The Kitchen has everything you need. Very much looking forward to returning next year to enjoy my small peice of heaven again.

Qua it Beautiful Stay Near Ostuni

Stefano was a wonderful host who greeted us with an anniversary gift. Their home is very close to Ostuni. He also was able to get us a table at his friends restaurant in town with very short notice. They had beach chairs and an umbrella for us to use at the beautiful beach in the area. Be sure to visit the ruins around town. Thank you for an incredible stay Stefano!

Tranquil & relaxed

We spend a week in this lovely house in the beautiful countryside of Ostuni. Everything was wonderful, our hosts Stefano an Daisy gave us a warm welcome. We enjoyed the brand new and nicely decorated house equipped with all amenities. We slept like roses in comfy beds and were surprised by the complete silence and tranquil surroundings. Definitely plan to come back for another stay in the most perfect place in Puglia.

Beauty and Tranquility

Absolute peace and tranquility in this beautiful haven, set in amongst an ancient olive grove. A small, finely restructured limestone ensuite room, with separate kitchen and a spectacularly stylish pool. Perfectly situated for sight seeing, if you can bear to ever leave. Excellent experience

We had a wonderful stay. First, the communication was excellent and Stefano sent the best tips for anything you would need in the area. Most importantly the hosts are in incredibly kind. Just great people. The separate outbuilding room is attached/adjascent to the main house, and there is a separate kitchen which is very well laid out and clean. The pool is beautiful and the location into Ostuni or further points surrounding is extremely convenient. In fact, it’s located in one of the best areas of Ostuni. A great experience all around!!

Paradise in Ostuni

A beautiful peaceful stay a 10 minute drive from Ostuni. The villa is located amongst olive groves beneath Ostuni and is decorated beautifully. The pool and the surrounding gardens really make this feel like paradise. The accommodation is a separate out house with a bedroom and bathroom to where Stefano and Daisy live, however they are wonderful hosts and give you lots of privacy and are very friendly also. Stefano gave us lots of tips of what to do each day in the surrounding areas and this really made our trip special. The pool is lush and for your own use and so is the kitchen which we used every day and is filled with everything you could ever need! We really enjoyed our stay here and hope to return soon.

Wonderful, tranquil experience

The property is in a rural set amongst olive groves, placed perfectly between the sea and the town of Ostuni. All amenities worked perfectly - icy cold air conditioning and the pool was kept very clean. The kitchen is in an adjacent building and is well-equipped with all crockery and cutlery and utensils you need for meal prep, along with all main appliances. The location means that a car is pretty essential for making trips to the nearest restaurants or bars or shops or tourist sights...perhaps a little too far to walk. Our hosts were super friendly and very responsive to any questions we raised. Someone was often around taking care of the garden or maintaining the property but they were always discrete and quiet in the background. We used the property as a base for exploring and would definitely recommend it for anyone looking to enjoy the area around Ostuni and the Adriatic coast. A wonderful holiday!

A little piece of heaven

We just spent a glorious week here and Stefano made us feel so welcome. Before we even arrived he sent us lots of recommendations which were so valuable. Nothing was too much for him - always available to help and even bought some medication when needed. He was the host with the most - friendly, knowledgeable and kind but unobtrusive! The villa is set amongst olive groves yet only 20 mins to the beach and to Ostuni. The location is so pretty and quiet. The accommodation was perfect for us and was in a peaceful idyllic setting - the bonus for us was having the pool entirely for ourselves which was cleaned every morning before we even got up! The room was spotlessly clean and cool with brilliant air conditioning and the kitchen had everything we needed to eat in when we weren’t enjoying some of the amazing restaurants recommended by Stefano! You need a car to visit some of the wonders of Puglia - Ostuni, Cisternino, Alberobello and many more, but the driving is easy and scenery beautiful. We definitely did not want to leave and will be back - this really is a little piece of Puglian heaven!

Very pleasant stay

We, married, 56 and 63 years old, lawyer and teacher, had 15 wonderful days at the „Villa Ostuni“, offered by Signor Stefano Ratta and bis wife Daisy. It‘s a bigger Bungalow, where Stefano and Daisy live, with a smaller guesthouse with bedroom, bathroom and a smaller room to stow away more luggage. The bathroom is modern style with „Jungle-Shower“. The double bei is kingsize and comfortable (I‘ve 1,96m - it was big enough). Outside the Pool is large and Stefano cleans it everyday in the early morning. Near the Pool you got a shady corner with a desk and seats where you can have breakfast or dinner. There are enough sunbeds and as we asked for an umbrella - no Problem. Stefano and Daisy are always very helpful, although they‘re seldom visible. Just a WhatsApp-Mail and you will get any help you ask for, such as hints for Good Restaurant or places to Go, material you need. Stefano offered us also to use their garden and gave us from his tomatoes biological grown. The kitchen is another small Building that is attached to the main building. We had there anything we needed. Around this „inner Area“ they grow Olive trees behind small Walls of stone, to separate it from the neighbor houses. Like written on a stone by Daisy: a Real Small „Paradise“. If you want it calm stay at Home and if you want more „Action“ the beautiful City Ostuni is 3.5 km/5 min. away. There is lots more to see in the near. Thank you Daisy and Stefano, that you let us be your guests in your Paradise!!! See you!

Très belle maison, dans un cadre idyllique : au beau milieu d'une oliveraie.Chambre et cuisine de belle taille et très propre.La piscine est également de taille adéquate.Hôte très sympathique et, même s'il vit à proximité, très discret.La maison est bien située géographiquement, ce qui nous a permis de visiter les Pouilles, de Bari à Lecce, en passant par Taranto. Vu les mauvaises conditions météo durant notre séjour, une pièce de vie supplémentaire (petit salon) aurait été appréciable. Mais quand ilfait beau, la belle terrasse est largement suffisante.

PARFAIT du début à la fin

Notre séjour à la casa Margarita a été PARFAIT, que ce soit la maison, l'emplacement, la disponibilité de Stefano (encore MERCI pour les bons plans tout au long du séjour), la discrétion de nos hôtes, la météo, la quietude, ... On a juste rien à redire. Ils ont tout fait pour qu'on se sente comme à la maison ! On recommande à 3000%, vraiment !

Der Gastgeber Stefano hat uns äußerst sympathisch empfangen.Er wohnt im angrenzenden Haus, kommuniziert aber am liebsten per WhatsApp. Der Kontakt hatte sich auf einige wenige Gespräche beschränkt.Bei Fragen half er kurzfristig.Die Lage des Hauses zwischen Carovigno und Ostuni ist sehr ruhig und versteckt.Man genießt das Rauschen der Ölbäume im Wind, das Zirpen der Zikaden,ab und an Hundegebell in der Ferne. Am meisten haben wir den sauberen Pool und den gedeckten Außenraum benutzt. Die kleine Küche ist separat in einem Anbau des Gastgebers,leider mit alten Geräten bestückt.Schlafraum und Bad sind im neuen Haus, das architektonisch mit einem gewölbten Steindach schön gestaltet ist.Am meisten gestört haben uns die alten schmutzigen Matratzen, so dass wir die ganze Zeit auf unseren eigenen,mitgebrachten Strandtüchern gelegen haben.Außerdem fanden wir Bewegungsmelder und Router neben den Betten störend.Den Aufenthalt haben wir trotzdem genossen,weil wir ein Haus mit Pool inmitten von Olivenhainen gesucht haben.Wir haben mit Stefano vor unserer Abreise über die Mängel gesprochen.Wenn diese beseitigt sind, kann man die Unterkunft voll umfänglich weiter empfehlen.Wir bereisen Apulien schon seit über 20 Jahren und lieben Landschaft,Kultur und Menschen.Der Tourismus hat stark zugenommen und man braucht gute Tipps um die Orte mit magischen Momenten zu finden.Saluti di Colonia

Un vero Paradiso !!

Da sole la curatissima piscina privata e la tranquillità del luogo in mezzo agli ulivi varrebbero il soggiorno. Poi naturalmente la suite confortevole con un bellissimo bagno tutto nuovo. E'comunque l'host che dà un " plus " al soggiorno: Dall'arrivo alla partenza Stefano è stato sempre disponibile per un eventuale aiuto e preziosi consigli su luoghi e ristoranti, rimanendo comunque estremamente discreto.

"Suite paraiso"

Der Name ist Programm. Wir durften zwei tolle Wochen bei Stefano und Daisy verbringen. Die beiden wohnen auch auf dem Grundstück, sind aber nur morgens beim Reinigen des Pools und Gießen der Blumen zu sehen...oder jederzeit bei Bedarf. Der Kontakt per WhatsApp klappt wunderbar - so war unsere deutlich verspätete Ankunft kein Problem; außerdem haben wir direkt viele Tipps bekommen (Strände, Bars, Restaurants, usw.). Wie auch frisch geerntete Tomaten aus dem privaten Gemüsegarten. Der große, private Poolbereich ist auf jeden Fall ein Highlight. Top war auch die Lage für unsere Erkundigungen der apulischen Küste. Umgeben nur von Olivenbäumen und reichlich Grillen ;-). Mit dem Auto sind es 10 Minuten an die Küste oder nach Ostuni, einer Stadt mit tollem Flair. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt - mille grazie!
