We had a wonderful stay at Annette’s beautiful heritage home — full of character and charm. Annette was very responsive, and communication was clear throughout our stay. The location was perfect, within walking distance to Katoomba shops and the train station, and just a short drive to Leura village. Highly recommend!

Family get-together.

14 Lovel St, Katoomba is a perfect place for family gatherings. 23 of us enjoyed a five day stay with no problems. Plenty of beds, showers and toilets.

Warm, cosy experience. Hosts were easy to contact. Plenty of information provided for sightseeing and eating. Rooms were comfortable. Lots of games/ reading provided for wet days. Kitchen amenities have everything needed to cook for 18 people. Lovely stay for our family gathering.

Fantastic guesthouse

Brilliant home for a large group. Photos don’t do it justice. All rooms are lovely & beautiful murals on the wall to keep children (and adults) happy!

Christmas Extended Family Holiday

The perfect place for four siblings and their families to get together for a post Christmas holiday together. No. 14 was excellent with lots of rooms for sleeping, a great kitchen for cooking for 18 people and dining spaces for sharing the resultant meals. It is in a great location and is clean and comfortable and a little bit quirky.

Just perfect!

We were a group of 24 - two extended families brought together for the marriage of our daughter at Dryridge Estate. Our 3 nights at 14 Lovel St just made the experience all the more wonderful. It was the perfect venue for us, so warm, inviting, clean and just a bit quirky. We couldn’t be happier. Thank you!

Family fun

Our family group of 18 were very well catered for at Lovel st, plenty of space and nooks for all to relax and unwind. The kitchen is great for big groups and very well appointed with all equipment needed to make individual meals or big group meals. The host was generous with all of the basic breakfast amenities and bathroom essentials provided. Communication with our host was clear and timely, really appreciated being able to stay at the property. Really good value and in a very convenient location. Thank you!

family get together

we were very comfortable .The only 'complaint' is that it was advertised as parking available which I took to mean off street parking. There was parking in the street but not easy to transfer luggage etc as there is a raised footway near the entrance of the house, and luggage had to be lifted up onto the path and pushed under the rail. Otherwise the property was spacious, clean warm and inviting. Thank you Annette

Great place for groups

We had a lovely stay at this character filled home which was great for our group. Very conveniently located for walks into Katoomba and close to Leura too. Annette was a great host with good communication leading up to our stay.

Weekend in Katoomba

No. 14 was a wonderful place to stay. We were up for a youth conference, and the youth felt right at home. It was lovely to be greeted on our arrival to a warm house on such a cold night.

excellent for large groups

we had a group of 10 staying for a weekend and the property was perfect for us as there was plenty of space, each person having there own room. it was close enough to the main activities and allowed us to have a great weekend with little trouble for such a large group
