This property was the perfect location for my Mystic getaway! I appreciated the off street parking and the convenience to downtown, as well as the Seaport Museum. I was able to get almost everywhere I wanted to go on foot.

This was everything that was advertised. We plan to come back next year. It was walking distance to town. The place was clean and very quaint. The host was very cordial. Every time we asked something by text she was right back to us. I give this a great review!

Property location was excellent! Walking distance to many great things to see and do. However, pictures online are outdated and property needs TLC and maintenance. I had several issues during my extended stay, many of which I addressed myself if possible. The owner was very responsive when the issue was something beyond my ability. I was looking for a relaxing, quiet get away. This property somewhat missed the mark in this respect. The garage seemed to be a focal point of their business which was very active during the day. I stayed the entire month of July and enjoyed my stay in Mystic. The property was a bit disappointing but I improvised, At the end of the day it worked out ok.

I understand that this apartment wasn't the best fit for Robin's stay. It has been updated with new flooring, a brand new mini split system and I personally think that it does look like the photos. I think it just wasn't to her taste since she bought decor items to decorate it with. The hot water heater died while she was staying and she suffered for a few days without letting me know about the lack of hot water. As soon as I was informed, I immediately addressed the issue and a new tank was installed within 24 hours. I'm glad she enjoyed her stay in Mystic.

Shaun was very helpful and provided us information about restaurants and activities. And the location of his property was within walking distance of restaurants and shops. We highly recommend the Caption Daniel Packer Inne for dining and the Argis for sailing. We really enjoyed our comfy stay at Shaun’s property. Plus, he provided snacks for our stay.

Points faibles : Communication
The apartment was located on a very quiet street and the location was perfect for walking to town. It was clean when we arrived with air conditioning running for a very warm day as well as 2 dehumidifiers. That was appreciated. There was tons of snack foods provided as well as some seltzer and other supplies in the fridge. The frustration we had which affected my rating was the front door was extremely sticky and not mentioned in any info sent was to pull the door forward before inward in order for it to open. I spent 10 minutes trying to get in. The ‘touted’ espresso machine was useless as no coffee was provided. An admitted mistake by Shaun and a discount was issued which i appreciated. Also, WIFI info was provided but it was absolutely useless. You can connect and it may work for email, but pictures and streaming was impossible. It took hours for Shaun to respond to that issue and by the time new WIFI info was sent we were already checking out.

Susan’s review stems directly from an excessive refund demand after an oversight was already fairly resolved: Coffee Beans & Extortionate Demand: When she noted that coffee beans were missing, I offered a $20 refund for the inconvenience. She rejected this, claiming the $20 was not enough. I declined the excessive demand and issued the $20 refund anyway—more than sufficient for two premium café coffees. Front Door & Check-in: While finishing turnover at 2:00 PM, I noticed humidity made the front door slightly sticky. At 2:07 PM, I proactively messaged her with the exact tip to pull the door toward her. Her husband opened the door without issue upon arrival, but when she had trouble after he stepped out, she messaged at 4:00 PM. At 4:01 PM—just sixty seconds later—I resent the entry code and instructions. Wi-Fi: The listing features fast, brand-new Wi-Fi. The updated network credentials were sent to her at 11:39 AM, well in advance of arrival. As the person who booked the reservation, reading timely messages is essential. I take pride in responsive hosting and fair problem-solving, but I do not capitulate to inflated refund demands when thorough instructions and generous compensation have already been provided.
