Private country retreat. Get away from it all and come and play with the sheep , goats horses, chickens and mini horse. Collect fresh eggs for breakfast or sit quietly and listen to the abundant bird life. Take a stroll around the 17 acres or take a 15min drive to Montville or Maroochydore. We are only 3mins from the railway station and happy to pick you up and drop you off. Palmwoods hosts the Famous Ricks Garage for all day eating and the award-winning Palmwoods pub all only 3 mins away . The beautiful Homegrown cafe is in town with 7am yoga on a Saturday and the Medicine man a short stroll around the corner. We have a writers retreat set up with 3 authors already published from their time here. We look forward to you taking a break, breathe , walk, refresh and meeting you soon.

What a lovely place to spend a week. The cabin had everything you would need, the host John was so friendly and the resident horses made an effort on numerous occasions to come and say hi. The eggs from the chook pen were an added bonus and delicious. We would not hesitate to come and stay again.

Clean, quiet & cosy accommodation. Host were very welcoming & friendly. Great accommodation if you are seeking a quiet getaway. Added benefit of being able to interact with goats, sheep, horses and the resident friendly dog. We were able to take a few great astrophotography pics as the location is away from the glow of suburbia.

We had a lovely stay. The cabin was clean and comfortable. Set amongst a forested backdrop, the wind in the trees, birdlife and even a wallaby hoping through made this a peaceful stay. Great location for access to the beaches or mountains. Farm animals were cute and we loved feeding the hens and having eggs for brekkie. Friendly hosts, definitely recommend. Thank you John and Cathy.

Room was spotless and smelled amazing!! The farm was gorgeous and so quiet. The animals were adorable. The Hosts left such a cute message for when we arrived, our check in was very late and they were very accomadating and understanding when i called to let them know days prior arrival. Fully recommend this Farm stay for a getaway for couples. Really cute cafe and shops not far from where they are either.

We did not need internet as we had own mobile data. We did a test on the provided internet and was very slow. I would hate to think that John and Cath are paying good money for a very slow internet service. They were the best hosts by far and deserve a much better internet service than what they are getting now.

Unfortunately due to illness I had to cancel my stay. The communications by Caroline and John were very kind, and I know they would have been excellent hosts. By all accounts I believe the accommodation would have admirably suited my requirements. I look forward to a possible trip next year.

Wonderful place for a relaxing getaway

This was one of my favourite holidays for awhile! The cabin is comfortable and homey and getting the chance to feed baby goats was such an amazing experience! I definitely recommend staying here and look forward to coming back in the future.

The perfect farm stay

Absolutely beautiful property, was like a home away from home. Cabin was beautiful and cosy and I honestly couldn’t fault it. Was quiet and relaxing and exactly what I needed. Cath and John were also very accomodating and were available to help with anything I needed.
