Great spot for large group

Although there were a few issues with the house, they sent maintenance to fix them within an hour. We also loved watching the gator hang out behind the lanai each afternoon/evening.

Perfect location to disney

My family and I had a great time on our stay. House is in great location to Disney parks, and home has great lay out with a lot of bedrooms and bathrooms. Beds are comfortable, but couch was broken. We would definitely stay here again.

Fantastic stay!

House overlooked a beautiful pond. House had everything we needed and more! Pool was clean and I recommend the heat for a February stay. Plenty of space and a great playroom for the kiddos. Quiet neighbor with great water fun at the clubhouses. Definitely will stay again with this company!

We had a great time while in Florida, our accommodations certainly met our expectation. The only thing that we feel could be improved upon is eating and drinking items for younger children, everything was glass and there should be some plastic to avoid breakage.

End of summer vacation

We enjoyed are stay. Plenty of space for everyone and kids enjoyed the pool. Didn’t get to use the resort water park. But we enjoyed our stay everything was very clean. Only issue was the back of couch was broken. But everything else was great. We are hoping to stay again in the future.

The property itself was really nice, the cleaning of the property was subpar. Unfortunately the heat pool and hot tub did not work but the property management team did reimburse us for the days it did not work. Great location, really nice home but they should look to change cleaning companies.

Pool sticks broken. Missing amenities in the game room. Carpets need to be cleaned upstairs. Couch needs to be replaced. There was MINIMAL cooking pans and pots. Other than that the place is great. Pool was so warm. The restroom that we could access directly from the pool area was wonderful. The unit was so close to shopping and restaurants. We had a great time.

Family Trip

My family and I enjoyed our stay at this property. The house itself is quite large and boasts several living spaces, so we felt like we had ample room while there. There is a master bedroom/bathroom on the main floor, an additional full bathroom on the main floor, and 5 bedrooms/4 full bathrooms upstairs. We had 8 adults, one teenager, and one 3 year old in our party and this house was perfect. There is some normal wear and tear associated with these types of rentals (some of the furniture is a little banged up), but nothing interfered with our stay. We appreciated the pool while there. We did not cook while there, so I cannot speak to the kitchen’s accommodations and note that there are no leftover spices, coffee filters, etc. The purpose of our stay was a Disney trip, and the property was truly about 15-20 minutes from the parks’ parking lots. Again, we enjoyed our stay here and would book again!

Great Villa but needs some TLC

The villa was an amazing size for our group and accurately described on the website. The kitchen was very well equipped. However it needs some TLC, previous guests previously commented on the broken sofa and pool cues, when I questioned this I was assured they were fixed, they were NOT. It didn't detract from the holiday but disappointing. Thankfully because it was so bright, we kept the curtains upstairs closed, but if open the state of the windows was disgusting. I would complement the management company however, whenever we got in touch they replied quickly.

Gorgeous Lake View Out Back

Everything was AMAZING! The only things I would suggest are: 1) Find out exactly where the guard shack is before arrival—this is where you pick up your parking pass. It was not easy to find. 2) Learn about where to dispose of trash. We took our bags offsite (searched for legal dumpsters to use). The hot tub is better than other types that are just spas. It has powerful jets and even seems to warm up more when the jets have been on for a while. We will most definitely return to this home—it was gorgeous and had everything you could want. It was close to EVERYTHING and our pool/hot tub was so nice, we didn’t even visit the clubhouse. THANKS FOR MAKING OUR WEEK PERFECT.

Family Thanksgiving Get Away

The hot tub and pool area was great and was enjoyed every day, the house was certainly big enough for us all and for that we were very grateful. The property was spacious but .... 1.) the kitchen looked great and advertised as being fully finished, but very few pans, serving bowls, etc. We were there for Thanksgiving, and it wasn't easy to complete the meal prep., we too had to purchase extra pans, dishes and basic salt and pepper - it was not what I would call a furnished kitchen; and 2.) The WiFi was needed by several of us for work, but it was so weak it was impossible to get our work done. We enjoyed our time together and was grateful for a beautiful house to stay in.

Great vacation house!

We really enjoyed our stay at this house. It was very clean when we arrived, and the location was fantastic! So close to Disney World and Universal, and the water park at the community center was a hit with the grandkids. A few pieces of furniture are showing wear (couch is 'broken' on one end, pool cue tips are broken off), but overall this was minor and hopefully landlord will address these things and keep the place top-notch. The pool water was pretty warm, but I don't suppose there's much you can do about that given the hot temps in Florida recently. Grandkids loved it just the same. The one real criticism is that there is NOTHING in the kitchen for you to start with -- no salt and pepper, no leftover condiments in the frig, plastic wrap or tin foil, absolutely nothing. Because the owner says he wants everything cleared out upon leaving, we had to throw out our seasonings, unopened cans of soda and sparkling water, almost full bottles of catsup and vegetable oil, syrup, etc. At other VRBOs we've stayed in, those things are left and are always much appreciated. Overall, a great stay and we would recommend!

Home needs a lot of maintenance and deep cleaning

This home has potential, however there were numerous maintenance, sanitary, and safety issues within the home. None of the issues were addressed during our stay, and it is very difficult to get anyone to do anything on weekends unless you’re reporting something during normal business hours and business days. One of our children collapsed in the bed while sleeping the bedframe gave out from underneath, and the bunkbeds are super unstable - very shaky. The floors were super dirty that are feet and socks were black by the end of the first evening. There was dust on vents, hanging light fixture above stairs about to collapse, bugs and blood stains on multiple blankets and bed sheets. When we address these issues with the rental company, they basically told us that they wish that we would’ve told them this during our day (which we did) and they still did nothing about it. We’ve stayed at another house in the same community that was much better and nicer. I would not recommend this home to anyone until they make some improvements and deep clean.

Not what we expected

We had booked this property over a year out, 30 days before our trip the company reached out and informed us that this property would not be available as it would be undergoing some maintenance during our dates and that they were moving our accommodations to another property. We accepted as it was 30 days from our trip & didn't feel that we had time to find another place. So this review is based on the rental company and not the property. We were very underwhelmed upon arrival. At first site, everything looked nice, but furniture and bedding did not match the pictures. The cute themed rooms no longer had themed bedding and the furniture was in rough shape. The house was dirty and was is need of a deep clean, there was a thick layer of dust on baseboards, cob webs on light fixtures and the carpet felt dirty and crusty. The lovely set table, had dirty dished and crusty place mats. The pool had a nasty slim line. The bathrooms and bedding were clean so it worked for our stay but was not up to par. It gave motel 6 vibes when we were expecting at least Holiday Inn quality. The house was in need of repairs, patio door would not open correctly and could not even lock. The furnace drain clogged causing the 2nd floor to flood and leak down to the 1st floor. it took maintenance over 24 hours to arrive and they didn't even attempt to dry up the water mess. I could keep going but am limited on characters, but overall it worked but was not what we expected.

Beautiful and spacious house

This house was beautifully furnished and clean. We love the pool, hot tub and patio area, it provided tons of seating. There’s plenty of space for 12 adults to hang out in the house and spread out. We will definitely stay here again. Property manager was great at communicating and answering any questions.

Overall the property was clean but there were many things we weren’t happy with. The fact that a grill and hot tub were advertised but yet when we arrived and we found out they were an additional cost it was very disappointing and frustrating. We were in town for a food convention and using the WiFi was important and it was very weak and slow even with just one user. The kitchen was large but the kitchen tools and linens were very sparse. We ended up having to purchase a baking dish, foil, and salt and pepper, and use some bath hand towels as kitchen towels. These were hurdles I didn’t expect to have to deal with.

Spacious, new property on the back side of storey lake. Edney's properties are always very well decorated. Game room had air hockey, PS4, and pool table. bedrooms, bathrooms were all clean and well furnished. Pool/hot tub and patio area have plenty of seating. Kids rooms both had black out curtains. Highly recommend

Spacious home. Loved the lake view

Property was just as pictured. Loved the space inside and outside of the home. There was a great view. We had to contact the property manager because the pool sticks were broken and the ping pong table did not have a net. The property manager came out to provide the items.
