Waterfront Getaway in sailing village of Oriental

Peaceful waterfront setting for a relaxing stay. Enjoy dinner from home on the balcony. Walk or bicycle along the Oriental waterfront to the charming harbor where there is an adorable coffee and ice cream shot affectionately known as The Bean, Village Gallery, Tiki Bar, New Village Brewery & Taproom and more. Bicycles available. Only one small female or neutered male dog under 20 pounds is allowed with a $25 per day per pet collected prior to arrival.

The Space
The space is open with a beautiful view of Whitaker's Creek. One bedroom with a large couch and ottoman that can be used for a bed. Plenty of room for an air mattress. Kitchen boasts refrigerator, stove, and microwave. Washer and dryer located in large walk in closet. A large balcony for relaxing and enjoying dinner with a panoramic view.

Guest Access
Space has a private access. Free parking and room for boat trailers, kayaks, etc.

Other Things to Note
The house has it's own entrance, however this unit has a flight of stairs. Children are welcome but no children live on the property. Fishing and crabbing are available at our dock. You can also leave shallow draft boats in the water overnight. Has kayak access. Bicycle is also available. Host feeds 20 to 80 snapping turtles within walking distance every night around 5:30. A very memorable sight.

Stays longer than 27 days will be assessed an additional cleaning fee, collected by host prior to arrival.
There are 2 additional dogs that live on the property.

Property management company takes awhile to respond if you have any questions. Also had a beautiful view but you can hear conversations and the TV from anyone in the downstairs space. Didn’t feel like you were in your own space much.

This place was perfect , It was my sons 13th Bday .. We came up to charter a Fishing Trip that, was AWESOME !! The Boys fished all day from the dock the day before and caught some nice fish !. Very comfortable place and the Host was more than Friendly !!

Winning Location

The keyless entry was convenient, as we arrived much later than expected due to work. The neighbor's very friendly dog was a nice welcome, as was the neighbor. Lovely view of the docks, water and sailboats. We were privileged enough to watch an Osprey family

Perfect getaway

Of all the places we could have stayed in our first time at Oriental this one was perfect. The upstairs apartment was a great place to bird watch (we wished we'd brought our binoculars!) and take in the water view. The place was extremely clean and well stocked, even with sugar for our coffee. The only confusing thing was finding the door which happens to be from the same porch as the lower level apartment. Otherwise, wish we could have stayed longer!

Relaxing space

The view of the marina and boats along with the water was relaxing after long days at work. It was nice to go home to a comfortable space verses a hotel room. Nice porch with a nice view.

Winter weekend stay

I was in Oriental visiting a sick family member, and it was really nice to be able to retreat to this relaxing vrbo. It was just me, but there was plenty of space, and the layout was good. The management was nice to work with, which I really appreciated. I’m hoping to be back in town soon and would definitely stay here again. Thank you!

First time to Oriental

This is perhaps the best location and home in Oriental. The views and access to marina and town are hard to beat. Get that hot tub working and I’ll be back!

Great place right on the water

My son and I spent the weekend here and used this place as our home base to do some kayak fishing. Great place and they have their own dock which made fishing super easy. We will definitely stay here again.

Beautiful views, fabulous location

Quiet neighborhood, excellent for walking, waterfront, pet friendly. Couldn't have picked a nicer place! Interior was well appointed, nicely decorated and cozy. We felt "at home" immediately. Would go back tomorrow if I could!

Always Wonderful ~ Never Disappoints

This little gem is our go to getaway. Always peaceful, clean and comfortable. You’ll want for nothing except a longer stay. Bed, bath and kitchen, all well appointed. The view is beautiful 
 sunrises, ospreys, boats quietly coming and going 
 all from a private covered deck. We’ll be back

Great time great view and a chance meeting of a famous town elder! Only issue was finding the stairs to the unit, but Rob got us to the right place. Highly recommend!
