Humphrey House nestled in the Town of Oriental, NC

Humphrey House is our family's vacation retreat, and we look forward to you enjoying it as much as we do! The spacious kitchen and its appliances should accommodate meal prep beautifully. A reverse osmosis system supplies filtered water to drink as well as a water softening system. Seating for 3 can be found at the breakfast bar, as well as a hand crafted dining table for the family to enjoy.

A lovely stay

My children and I spent two nights here for camp pick up, and the location was absolutely perfect to enjoy Oriental. My son and I played pickle ball at the nearby park and we had wonderful seafood at local restaurants. The house was extremely clean and there was space for all of us to spread out, including a TV room upstairs that the children enjoyed while I worked. The bedrooms and bathrooms were clean and comfortable. I would definitely return!

Great location, well stocked and super comfy space

This home is outstanding! We love everything about it. Well stocked kitchen, comfy beds, great front porch with rockers, right near the center of the village. Walkable to all things Oriental. Second time renting, can’t wait to come back!

Perfect place

This house was perfect for a gathering of mature women. The house was very clean and well stocked. We will definitely consider it again.

Family Thanksgiving

Nice house! Family with 3 couples and one small child - we shared the Thanksgiving long weekend. Plenty of room, nice porch, good kitchen, comfortable beds. Great location - short walk to the river and to a lovely park/playground/tennis and pickle ball courts. We would rent this house again!

Humphrey house oriental

Hello, we had a great time in Oriental. Both kids went to sailing camp and want to go again. The house was great. Super clean and convenient. We hope to come back again.

Wonderful home in the heart of Oriental

We had a wonderful stay at this lovely home in the heart of Oriental. We walked to the waterfront, the local brewery, coffee shop, and restaurants. The home is beautiful and just as pictured. The owners were wonderful and extremely quick with communication. We will be back again!

Playing in Oriental

We were in Oriental for a three day bike adventure and fell in love with this wonderful home. We spent hours on the porch, walked the waterfront every evening and could not ask for a better location. It was a lovely home. The beds were wonderful and it had everything we needed. I would highly recommend. We will be back in three years. Hope to rent it again.

Oriental, NC - very cozy small town USA.

Walking or bike riding distance to downtown restaurants, shops and coffee. We really liked Mariposa, Gretchen's Bistro and The Bean.

Psycho48 Ultra Bike Race Weekend with Friends

Beautiful, quiet neighborhood in quaint Oriental, NC. Close to the water. Here for an ultra bike time trial event in nearby Bayboro, and house met our needs. Wish we could have stayed longer but spent most of our time on the bikes. Comfortable beds. Hot shower. Upstairs area where the young adults could hang out while we old folks tried to get our rest before race day. Good eats at Silos and wonderful breakfast at Yawl’s. Hope to come back for next yeAr’s event. Krent and Rachel were most accommodating.

Great Weekend Getaway

It was a wonderful weekend in a clean well-kept home. The weather was perfect for porch sitting both during the day & the evening. We enjoyed the close proximity to the little Oriental beach & the short walking distance to a small public pier. It was a quaint neighborhood. We had a lovely weekend. We would definitely rent this home again.

Wonderful house

Wonderful house easy walking distance to downtown oriental. The house was very nice and great for kids with an upstairs play area. Nice view of the river from the porch.
