Loved the place! Very clean!One thing to note if traveling with elderly or people that have a hard time climbing stairs, is that the stairs inside the house and the stairs leading from inside garage to the house are very steep. The stairs outside on the back of the house were much better.

Owners have taken the time to have a lot of items furnished that make for a very comforting stay. The kitchen is fully stocked with various items needed to cook regardless of what you are preparing. The dock is set up with bumpers on the pilings to rest your boat on in two separate locations. Dock has power and two separate fresh water hoses ready to spray your boat off after a day on the water. Boat ramp is super close to the property. We stayed five nights, very comfortable. Everyone enjoyed their stay. I will book again next time I'm heading to Oriental.

Relaxing Family Getaway

Wonderful stay with family. The fisherman in our family loved the ability to bring the boat and the use of the dock and amenities. Beautiful view and peaceful, private setting. I also loved all of the art and pottery pieces in the home.

Another great trip

This was our second time staying here and it was just what we needed. Our duck hunting guides picked us up right off the dock and we were in the blinds hunting in no time.

Relaxation At Its Best!

Our stay at the Cast Away was exactly as described; A Water Front Getaway! The house was perfect and the dock was enjoyed both day and night. We loved walking around Oriental's docks and neighborhoods.

Family Duck Hunt

Great property with dock access for the men to be picked up for hunting. Beautiful view with quiet surroundings. Plenty of space for relaxing and coming meals. Enjoyed the area as well. Will definitely book again.

Lovely view, water access, and wildlife

We love this property. You can see dolphins, river otters, skates, rabbits and deer, all from one place. The views from the house, especially the great screen porch, are perfect and the dock is perfect for boating, playing, and fishing.

Great location!

This home is in a lovely community. It's quiet and relaxing, and the home is well-appointed. My husband is a kayak fisherman and launched his kayak from the nearby ramp, and he had quite a bit of good fishing while we were there.

We stayed here to attend a wedding at River Dunes.The location was perfect. Off the beat and path yet close enough to attend all the festivities.. We enjoyed the peace and quite and the convenient location.

My teenage son and I loved the property. I could live there. The house had everything we needed plus more. It was so quiet and peaceful. The view from the dock was perfect. We will love to rent again.

Perfect Getaway Place

My family and I had such a relaxing time. The scenery with all the nature is what we really enjoyed.The dock for fishing was so nice.I now want a screen porch on my house after enjoying the one one at this house.Very kind town!! Even with bad weather, still a great stay!

This is our second time at this property. This time we went earlier in the year and it was a bit chilly and very rainy but it still filled my husband’s need to spend time on the water.
