I have no idea how bad. I say just kill a few. He says it’s bad. So my team for my place is across way checking someone in. I ask them to go help him. They inform me it’s bad. I tell the guest. Just cancel. I’ll refund the entire amount in full. He says no he doesn’t feel like moving. From my point when you don’t want to move and there’s a problem you lose the right to really complain about it since we offered a full refund. Morning comes around they send over a exterminator. He tells me he checked out. But in fact that’s a lie because all his bags and some cloths are there still at noon. He wants a different apartment but we don’t have a bunch of empty apartments just sitting empty in case someone isn’t happy with there apartment. So I offer him a refund for them unused days. But he’s fighting with me in how much money it should be. If I act a little terrible to a client it’s because that client pushed us to acting this way. For $45 /a night a room with ac and hot tub a balcony near everything peoples expectations are crazy high. This place is very nice. We are near the equator and when guests leave garbage out or on the floor we get all kinds of pests. But we are quick on the draw to bring in a exterminator. We offered him a full refund the minute he complained now about 2am. We are not a full service hotel with a front desk. I believe this is where he should be staying. Because he went on to find other things wrong with the place and all he could say is the shower drain didn’t drain fast enough. This is Colombia. It’s still not a first world country. So we do our best here at 2am when people don’t folllow the directions or take us up on a refund.
