Niché sur le confortable lac Shay, dans le nord du Wisconsin, le Lone Cedar Cabin est un lieu de séjour idéal pour une semaine tranquille sur le lac ou un week-end à la découverte des sentiers! Notre paisible cabine de 1300 pieds carrés se trouve sur 50 pieds de la propriété au bord du lac. Avec 3 chambres et un salon spacieux, il y a beaucoup de place pour les groupes jusqu'à 12.

Shay Lake est Ă  vous pour pĂȘcher, nager ou faire du bateau. Louez notre bateau ponton de 22 pieds pour rendre votre sĂ©jour plus amusant!** DĂ©tendez-vous dans la cabine ou dĂ©couvrez les rĂ©gions environnantes de Lakewood, Suring et Crivitz, oĂč vous trouverez des activitĂ©s pour toutes les saisons. En Ă©tĂ©, essayez le rafting, le golf, le vĂ©lo, les boutiques de souvenirs, les vignobles, les casinos ou l'Ă©quitation. Pour une escapade hivernale, ajoutez de la pĂȘche sur glace, du ski de fond et de la motoneige Ă  la liste! Informations sur les attractions et activitĂ©s Ă  proximitĂ© sont disponibles dans la cabine ou utiliser le Wi-Fi pour planifier votre propre aventure.

Le comtĂ© d’Oconto compte plus de 450 km de sentiers de VTT et de nombreux sentiers de motoneige. Les cartes des sentiers pour les deux sont disponibles dans la cabine. Nous avons beaucoup de places de stationnement pour vos remorques et vos vĂ©hicules. De plus, vous pouvez vous connecter directement aux sentiers Ă  partir de la cabine. Vous avez accĂšs Ă  certains des meilleurs sentiers de motoneige et de VTT dans l'Ă©tat. En Ă©tĂ©, un court trajet en voiture vous mĂšnera aux sentiers dans toutes les directions, Ă  la recherche de votre destination prĂ©fĂ©rĂ©e, de votre bar, de votre casino ou de votre restaurant. Si vous voyagez en traĂźneau, une traversĂ©e du lac vous mĂšnera aux sentiers de motoneige ou emprunterez l'allĂ©e oĂč vous pourrez faire une promenade rapide dans le fossĂ© et rejoindre directement les sentiers damĂ©s. Quoi qu'il en soit, les sentiers et les possibilitĂ©s infinies ne vous dĂ©cevront pas!

A lovely stay

I just wanted to say that my family and I had a lovely time at your home. The size was perfect for my wife, 3 kids, my brother and myself. We also really appreciated the flexibility with the pontoon boat as well. Meeting Pa was very fortuitous as he was parking the boat at the top of the hill, because I had forgot the pin number for the door, and didn't have service to look it up on my phone. The house had anything we could have possibly needed. The only concern we would share, is that it was VERY hot in the house, and the AC didn't seem to even come close to keeping up as the thermostat regularly would only get down to the lower 80's which made for some fairly uncomfortable sleeping. It could have just been a crazy hot week, but wanted to voice the concern if there is a larger issue, because we had the air on, but it was blowing warm. That is the only negative we could possibly offer though as the house was wonderful. Thank you!!

Memories made to last a lifetime

This was our third time staying at the Lone Cedar and our never disappoints. We have 6 adults and 6 kids (9 and under) and it's a blast. We enjoy the fishing and swimming with the use of the boat, kayaking around the lake. Enjoy sunrises and sunsets along with the loons and eagle. The firepit is nice. We love the games. Our time was amazing. The hosts are fantastic. Thank you so much for everything

Family fishing trip

The property was very clean and spacious. We did not expect to not have phone service so getting the keypass ways tricky. Peaceful but pretty far away from everything. Obviously people like that, just wasn't for us.

Beautiful Lake Home

The house is fabulous! Lots of room, stocked with everything you need for your stay (and more), gorgeous view of the lake right from the living room and kitchen. Everything was fantastic!

We loved our first family vacation. The cabin was super clean and spacious. With a baby next time would bring a gate for the steps from kitchen to living area. Pontoon rental totally worth it. It was relaxing, quiet and safe. Would recommend and will rent again.

Nice lake cottage

Lovely lake getaway

The cabin was lovely! Everyone slept comfortably in the large rooms. Four young kids took over one of the bunk rooms and loved hanging out and having a “sleepover” Beautiful lake nice and quiet. The cabin was a perfect retreat to hang out and relax! Lake was great for swimming! We all had a ball!

Quiet and Remote

Some difficulty with GPS finding the address. You turn on a grandma’s lane and take a drive through the woods. It was absolutely gorgeous but at first I was panicking that we were not on the correct road. All is well, just keep driving. Great hosts, lovely cabin. Small lake that we really enjoyed kayaking on daily. We also brought inflatable tubes and the kids had fun playing on those. It’s the most clear lake water we’ve ever seen.

Very good property, and cabin has a lot of great amenities. We did have a great time, one thing that was a little bothersome was the owners stayed 2 houses down and did show up multiple times. Other than that everything else was great.

Wonderful and Relaxing

Peaceful stay. Boat rental was worth it. Loved it, would stay there again. Cabin had everything we needed. And when we did have questions, hosts responded quickly. Not as secluded as I thought it was going to be but it we were one of 3 boats on the lake everyday so that was awesome.

Great place for a long weekend with family!

We had a great weekend at this cabin tucked in the woods on a sweet little lake. Cabin had all the needed amenities. Lots of towels, cookware, grill, fire pit and bundles of wood. Plenty of room inside and out for our party of 10 including 5 adults and 5 kids. Kids enjoyed fishing off the dock and all around the lake. Everyone enjoyed relaxing and floating in the lake!

Wonderful week on Shay Lake

We had the most amazing time staying at the Nelson's cabin! This was our 2nd time and it was just as great as the 1st. We had 6 adults and 6 kids ages 7 and under. They had everything we needed for a good time. We also rented the pontoon which is a must! So much swimming, fishing and just riding around the lake. The loons were an added bonus. They are so fun to watch. We can't say enough about this place. The hosts are incredibly easy to work with! So helpful and quick to respond. Thank you again for everything! We made the best memories as an extended family.

Great time at the lake

My friends and I rent this cabin every year. We have a weekend of fishing, boating and relaxing. Its a great small lake. Very quiet with very little boat traffic. The fishing is good for bass and bluegills. The cabin is well stocked and clean. Highly recommended.

Amazing lake cottage

Rented the cabin for a family vacation. Property is so remote and beautiful as is the cottage. Big, roomy, very well kept up by the owners. We had an amazing time hiking the wooded trails, kayaking, fishing, swimming, and enjoying campfires at night. It was the perfect relaxing vacation needed! Hope to visit here again in the future.

Very peaceful retreat

We had a very nice time at this peaceful cabin. We loved the small lake that only had a few other boaters/fishermen. We enjoyed the fire pit every night right by the water. Everyone caught a fish when we took the pontoon out on the lake. This was one of the most well stocked houses we've rented, with plenty of towels and games. We would bring our own DVDs for rain days next time since we don't have a Hulu or Netflix account. The only drawback is that the yard is rather small, which is fine for most, but our 3 little boys needed a little more room to run. Overall we had a great stay!
