Great retreat

This was a great location for a trip. Loved the quiet but also close enough to the crazy tourist areas.. cabin was cozy! Check in was great and easy!

Cute out of the way peaceful cabin. The interior of the cabin was cutely decorated and had everything you needed for a stay. I would suggest new towels and shower curtain liners. Biggest disappointment was exterior porch was dirty and had spider webs everywhere. The rockers and outdoor furniture could not be used because of this. I read another review with this comment and was hoping it would be fixed.

Needs a seasonal deep cleaning

I will start with the location is close to Douglas lake, if you're going for the lake it's perfectly located. However if your trip is to go to Pigeon Forge it's a at least 30 minutes and Gatlinburg is at least 45 minutes because the roads are windy. My husband and I have a couple of vacation rentals that get deep cleaned when the season is over/slow. There were lots of cobwebs that were reachable with a swiffer, floors were sticky and rugs needed vacuumed, outdoor grill and table needed wiped down before guests arrive, deck needed swept off too, light bulbs were burnt out in the bathroom, bulbs missing in lamps, cabinet doors were stuck to cabinets.... I realize that some guests that rent the cabin are not as careful as others but the owners or property manager need to make sure these things are tended to for the guests using the cabin. The DirecTV didn't work the entire time we were there because it needed set up (at least that is what the message was telling us when trying to use it) and I did get a credit for that. After all of that it's a cozy peaceful cabin with enough parking for 3 maybe 4 vehicles depending on the model vehicle.

Home is very old and antiquated. Toilets looked to be original and had rust stains all over. Did not have adequate seating. The entire home smelled very musty. Tried to communicate w rental company. They denied my refund because I didn’t get pics. When I went back to take pics I was denied access. Although they have kept my money. Found a brand new 3 bed cabin not far away for the same price. I was never put in touch with the actual owner of the property. Second person I spoke with at evolve was extreme rud. Vrbo said there was nothing they could do to help. Awful exp.

Super nice cabin!

My family really enjoyed our stay at the cabin.! Good location, home-like feel and a good lake view. Only a couple (minor) complaints: very small washing machine (but has full sized dryer), pull out sofa bed in loft area had broken springs in top left corner but we stuffed one of the cushions in there for support. Luckily just the grands sleeping on it. Internet was slow at times. On the good side...the arcade game was a big hit with kids (both big &small!) Overall I would recommend staying here and if available would stay there again!

Beautiful

The cabin was beautiful and quite the only issue is the pool is closed because of covid but it did not mention it so that was disappointing to my 10 year son but we went tot the caves and cades cove and swam in one of the creeks so that made up for it

This cabin was gorgeous. It was spacious and the view is incredible. It was clean and had all the necessities and then some. The owner was friendly and informative. We will definitely be back!

I truly loved the cabin! It was just as pictured and described. Plenty of space with everything we needed for a wonderful stay. I would recommend this cabin to anyone coming that way. Beautiful view of the lake.

Family getaway

This cabin was very cozy and felt like home! Amazing view of the lake. Comfy beds. Hot shower.Stocked kitchen(the only utensil missing was the can opener). TVs in each room! Great area. The air did go out on a hot day but the property manager Kim stayed in contact to resolve the issue and the owners were generous and understanding of the issue and a family emergency that we occurred during our stay. Also, Kim delivered outstanding customer service! We spoke quite often during my stay which was perfectly fine with me because I felt like I’ve known her for years ! Kim is definitely one of the main reasons I’ll be returning!

Beautiful cabin in the woods with view of lake

This cabin is remote, so allow time to drive to Dollywood, etc. If you are just wanting to get away, it is perfect EXCEPT the WIFI is bad. You can basically run one device at a time. Maybe 2, depending on what you are doing. It is a great place to disconnect! Beautiful view and so quiet.

Trip review

Such a wonderful property! A little hard to find at first but once you get there it is truly something special. The wrap around porch and the lake view are my favorite parts of the whole house! It’s spacious and we had four adults and four kids, so we put the kids in the loft and they loved it! We will definitely be visiting again!

Beautiful cabin!

We loved this cabin. It was quiet, clean and comfortable for our family. Next time, I will consider cooking more onsite. The kitchen was lovely and it was not super easy to “pop out” for a nice meal. Overall, this cabin is terrific.
