This charming 1-bedroom + open loft, 2-bath condo is a perfect choice for your Mammoth Lakes getaway. Nestled among the trees in the quiet Bigwood community on Sierra Star Golf Course, you’ll be just steps from the fairways and approximately one mile from both Eagle Lodge, Canyon Lodge and The Village. After a day on the slopes, trails, or golf course, cozy up beside the wood-burning fireplace or step outside onto the private deck, fire up the BBQ, and enjoy the fresh mountain air and peaceful forest surroundings. Inside, the condo offers a comfortable and inviting layout with everything you need to feel at home. The fully renovated kitchen is well stocked for preparing meals, while the living room features a flatscreen TV, DVD player, free Wi-Fi, and a sleeper sofa for additional sleeping accommodations. The main-level bedroom features a queen bed, flatscreen TV, and convenient access to the hallway bathroom. Upstairs, the open loft provides a second queen bed and its own en-suite full bathroom, creating additional space and privacy for families or small groups. A private washer and dryer are also located in the loft for added convenience. Guests have access to shared garage parking for one vehicle (garage clearance 7'3"), along with an additional parking pass. The Bigwood community features a year-round hot tub and on-site laundry facilities, plus an outdoor swimming pool during the summer months. The town trolley is nearby, or take advantage of the convenient location and head approximately one mile to the lifts at Eagle Lodge. Guests additionally receive complimentary access to Snowcreek Athletic Club. Mammoth's premier fitness and recreation facility featuring an indoor heated swimming pool, steam room, sauna, full fitness center, yoga, Pilates and cycling studios, racquetball and basketball courts, plus outdoor tennis, pickleball outdoor swimming pool during the summer months. Located on the second floor, this condo accommodates up to 6 guests. Non-smoking, and pets are not permitted. Two parking passes are provided. We loved the cabin so much! The location was great and getting in and out of the cabin was so easy compared to a lot of places we’ve stayed at in Mammoth. The cabin was very cozy and nicely remodeled. All of the rooms were very cleanly as well. We had an issue with the WiFi the first night, reached out to the host and they had the internet fixed the very next morning! The location was amazing because it was very close to Canyon and Eagle lodge and very close to shops and restaurants. We would definitely stay here again!

The place is nice and cozy. Beautiful kitchen. The host team responses quickly. The issues that we had were the temperature of the heaters. We kept it at 75 degrees but the house is either too hot or too cold. The parking space was very tid, we were driving a toyota sienna. Barely have enough space to park.

Great Stay in Mammoth

4 of us stayed at the condo for three nights. It is in a great location, a 10 minute walk from Mammoth Brewing and other restaurants. The condo was very clean, comfortable and the owners supply everything needed to cook in the kitchen as well as a nice supply of toiletries. We will definitely look to stay here again.

Property worked for what we needed. Its a little older and "worn" but served its purpose for what we were looking for. Was very clean and had the basics that were needed for the stay. Very convenient to the slopes.

Snow Trip

Overall the place is a good spot. Very close to everything you need for ski trip. The kitchen has been updated and looks great. The beds and baths are older but still work fine. Check in was a little confusing due to having to make reservations through VRBO and then having to sign a contract with the property management company. The only other issue I had was when we arrived there was a weed pen on the fireplace and was missed on the cleaning.

Got the job done.

The location was perfect to Eagle Lodge. The beds were slightly dirty especially the pull out couch. There was trash in the upstairs balcony bedroom. No fire wood. The bathrooms, both sink and showers leak so the floors where sopping wet. Not sure I would stay here again.

Worst communication with the manager

I needed help ever since we got there but it was impossible to speak to the manager or host. Fortunately we found the key under the mat, otherwise we’d have had to book a hotel, since we weren’t able to make contact w the property manager or host whatsoever.

We could have managed except for that the couch and the hard wood chairs in the main TV area were very uncomfortable. We had three people and it was difficult to relax. I would not stay here again.

nice location, indoor practical without frills

checkin / checkout was very convenient. the location of the unit is close to a bus stop and in a nice area. the unit itself is clean but without frills, we call it practical. We are happy with our stay but would suggest that the property manager fixes some of the minor issues we noticed. Pros: - great location - unit is very quiet - good for 3 peoples - nice wood fire stove, easy to start, control and clean - all appliances worked perfectly - good wifi and TV (netflix, amazon, HBO) Cons (minor) - some electrical outlets have unsecured face plate, this could be a problem with smaller children - the curtain for the upstairs showers should be replaced with some "hermetic" inclosure - we had a problem with one of the kitchen cabinet - need more towels (even so we had a dryer, we ran out) - garage is really tight for a larger SUV
