We totally enjoyed our stay at Flock of Sea Girls, Wrightsville Beach. We had a beautiful view of the ocean and a very short walk to the beach. Loved the porches! The kitchen was well stocked as well as the garage with beach chairs, bicycles, other supplies and a ping pong table. Plenty of parking. Would love to come back!

Great stay for big group

There was about 12 of us and we had a great time. The big kitchen and table and couch make it a great hang out area for everyone. The weather was not good beach weather but the garage was packed with good bikes and chairs! The kitchen was packed with all essentials to cook and provide for a big group. Overall great stay!

Property was very clean and all necessities were provided. Office staff and maitenance guy (Joe) were polite, prompt and professional. Great location and the house has a great set-up.

The beach house was fantastic!

The house was in a great location, filled with beach & kitchen accessories, books, towels, roll away beds, and blankets. Very efficient for guests. We will rent again. Our only thoughts were the beds were squeaky and mattresses uncomfortable. The lower level had cockroaches.

*Great location, but cleanliness issues held it back**This home has a lot going for it: steps from the ocean, spacious and clean inside, and truly private. It was well stocked for cooking, entertainment, and family game nights — the ping pong table was a great bonus for us. Plenty of beach gear was available too, which made packing easy.Unfortunately, cleanliness issues in two bedrooms and outside the main living space brought our experience down:- **Bedding:** We found dark red spots and long hairs on pillowcases in two bedrooms upon arrival. We requested fresh sheets but never received them, so we had to flip the pillowcases inside out ourselves.- **Upstairs deck furniture:** The tables where we planned to eat dinner had visible dirty spots and had to be wiped down before we could use them.- **Downstairs deck furniture:** The blue/gray cushions had spots that looked like black mold. Without knowing what it actually was, we avoided sitting there entirely — a shame, since it's an area guests would want to use daily.The location and amenities are excellent, but a more thorough cleaning between guests — especially of linens and outdoor furniture — would make this a truly standout stay.

Well equipped

What we liked best: Great location. Well equipped with beach towels, bikes, boogie boards, chairs, even fresh balls for the ping pong table! Lots of games. Kitchen was exceptionally well equipped. Especially enjoyed the large screened in porch with plenty of comfortable seating. The home was the perfect size for us -- 12 adults. Everything was clean and fresh; plenty of linens that actually fit the beds. Three things would make the home even better: bathrooms were fresh and new, just small; beds too seemed new, but wish they had been larger (queens) & a little more comfortable; main sofa was large which we loved, but it had a strange, low back, and was not comfortable to sit on -- the porch furniture was awesome.

Perfect family gathering spot!

We'll be back to stay at Flock of Sea Girls for sure! It was the perfect spot for our belated family Christmas gathering. With 6 bedrooms and more than enough bathrooms, there was plenty of space for everyone in our party of 4 couples and a baby. The main gathering space was idea - very open with ample comfy spaces to hang out together or watch the enormous tv. The huge table left room to spare. There are porches wrapping around both levels, to sit in the sun or visit, including a furnished and screened-in section down below. The view from the main room is AMAZING - the ocean is right there, just a few steps away across some stepping stones to the access path. And y'all, they have everything you need: beach equipment, kitchen appliances, dishes, grill, bikes, books and games - it was like a Hogwarts Room of Requirement! We always found what we needed. And the property managers had frequent and clear communication so that we had no problems. We can't wait to take our own flock back to Flock of Sea Girls!
