West End Paradise Unit Coral 4 - One bedroom efficiency suite

Enjoy all that Sanibel Island has to offer at the West End Paradise. Our charming cottage style accommodations offer a serene and tropical setting with mature foliage, pond with birds and turtles and we're just a short walk to the private Tradewinds beach. Unit "Coral 4" is a bungalow style efficiency suite with a kitchen featuring a mini fridge, stove top, microwave and coffee maker, living area and separate bedroom with a king sized bed. There is a full bathroom in the suite as well. Need more room? ... add unit "Scallop 5" for an additional bedroom with king sized bed and full bathroom. All of our units come with beach towels, access to the charcoal bbq grill, outdoor seating, high speed wireless internet, cable TV and air conditioning for those tropical Island summers.   Only one parking space per unit.

*Important Note: This rental does not include beach chairs or umbrellas. Instead, we’ve partnered with VayKLife to provide you with a credit toward beach essentials like chairs, umbrellas, coolers, wagons, and more—so you can pack light and still enjoy everything you need for a perfect day at the beach. While some of our homes may have beach gear on-site, availability varies, and we cannot guarantee specific items will be provided. With VayKLife, you get to choose exactly what you need, and they’ll deliver it right to your door for added convenience. Your booking confirmation includes a link to VayKLife’s site, where you can browse their full selection and easily redeem your credit. Everything we needed

Great place, great beach access. We especially liked the location, easy drive to Captiva and other Sanibel islands, yet we also had private access.

The apartment was incredible and peaceful! Everything was new and very clean. You have everything you need to enjoy your stay. Location is perfect and everything is a short drive which is very nice. Everything was great, clean, newly remodeled, had everything we needed for our stay. It was especially helpful to have quality pots and pans and other appliances such as a blender and microwave. Laundry is free and on site, huge bonus. Beach is just a few minutes away, we walked but you can bike or park in the designated parking lot with the pass provided. Will come again!

Short but sweet

Completely new inside, clean and just the right size for the 2 of us. Location is walkable to the beach (as long as your not carrying too many things). Or you can drive a couple minutes to Bowman's. Overall good accomodations.

3 days in Sanibel

Very relaxing stay on the west end of Sanibel. The kitchen could use a little updating but otherwise the property was perfect for a single or couple.

This would’ve been an absolutely perfect visit, but there were 3 issues that were quite significant: check-in, unit temperature, and TV Wi-Fi. But first, the good stuff! Location, location, location! We were a short bike ride away from the nature preserve, animal rehab facility, shell museum and aquarium, and popular beaches. There was also an amazing beach access at the end of the street. The unit was pristine and efficiently thought out to maximize space. We also greatly appreciated the rental credit which essentially paid for our rental bikes. The not so great…When we arrived after driving all day, we could not access the unit. We were grateful that, even though it was after hours, the property manager picked up very quickly, and after 10 minutes of troubleshooting, finally helped us access the key box. When we got into the unit, the room was unbearably hot. The thermostat read 72 and the instructions said we could not go down any further due to limitations on the system. We finally had to call the property manager the next day and it turned out they were reading 74 so they adjusted it which we greatly appreciated. Finally, we were eager to take advantage of the full array of stations on the TV but the Wi-Fi was so spotty, shows would freeze every few minutes. We finally gave up and logged into our own Netflix account. We would love to come back to this property again!

We are thrilled you enjoyed the "pristine" space and took full advantage of the location—being so close to the Shell Museum and the nature preserve really is the best way to experience the area. It’s also great to hear the rental credit made your bike adventures even easier! However, I want to sincerely apologize for the hurdles you faced. While we aim for a seamless experience, it’s clear we missed the mark in a few areas. Addressing Your Concerns: • Check-in: We are glad our manager assisted you quickly after hours, but we know how frustrating a delay is after a long drive. We are inspecting the key box now to ensure it’s functioning smoothly. • Climate Control: We appreciate your patience while we calibrated the thermostat. We want our guests to be comfortable, and we’re glad we could get that adjusted for you. • Wi-Fi & Streaming: There is nothing more annoying than a show freezing! We are looking into a Wi-Fi booster for the unit to ensure the signal can handle the TV’s streaming demands without interruption. We truly value your feedback as it helps us improve. Since you mentioned you’d love to come back, please reach out to us directly when you’re ready to book—we’d love the chance to host you again and deliver a flawless 5-star experience!

We want to clarify that our team is available 24/7 to address any guest concerns. As soon as we were made aware of the parking situation, we immediately reached out to every guest to help resolve the issue. It's been an incredibly challenging two years for us as we've worked tirelessly to rebuild and recover from Hurricane Ian. We're still navigating many hurdles, and while we strive for perfection, occasional issues can arise as we continue to rebuild and improve our services. Perfect Getaway

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our 4 night stay here! The property and neighborhood was perfect! Everything you need is provided, from kitchen to beach accessories! It was clean, and comfortable. Loved having the parking pass for the private beach area. I preferred something quiet away from the crowds, and this was perfect! I found so many beautiful shells! Can’t wait for our next trip! Would definitely book this place again!

Pros: close to private beach and apartment was roomy. Large shower, lots of beach stuff. Cons: it needs updating on outside and inside. The sheets were very rough and “pilled”.

So sorry we couldn't get all five stars for you. We do have a linen service, so that shouldn't have had any issues. The "Inn" is an olde Florida style small inn that tries to keep the character of how things used to be while making the stay very comfortable for guests. We'll look forward to welcoming you back again any time.

Great location to just hang at the beach

This quaint little bungalow was the perfect location. It wasn't in the chaotic area where everyone is, but a little north. Quiet location - easy walk to the beach and the parking pass was terrific. All of the things you will need for beach time.. Only comment is that it would be nice to have coffee filters, but the paper towel worked great. Property managers great to work with and very helpful. Thank you so much.

The cottage was very comfortable. It was clean and everything worked as expected. It's located a little far from the beach (about a 10 minute walk), but we rented bikes, so that made getting to the beach really easy. The laundry facility worked great and there was a hose outside to rinse off the sand. I highly recommend it.

Good Location

I wanted to get as close as I could to Bowman’s Beach and Blind Pass to go shell collecting. For the price this was a gem. I was able to do my daily walks at 5am collecting shells and be back for breakfast/brunch with my husband. Couldn’t walk on the beach to Blind Pass, have to walk on bike trail. So if you’re interested in shell collecting this spot was very good. You get a beach pass to park at the Trade Winds parking lot which was empty most of the time. This was convenient if you wanted to bring toys, packed cooler, etc. Bikes were provided along with beach umbrellas, cooler, beach chairs, etc. Bikes were shared among other tenants so be aware they maybe taken. Bed was comfortable, didn’t use the stove or dishes but they did look like a good selection. We used the mini fridge and a 7 pound bag of ice fits in the freezer part easily. Overall this is a nice quiet place to relax.

Great stay!

We really enjoyed our stay here. We liked to walk around the pond area and see the wildlife including the small alligator. It was also so convenient to have a private beach pass. It really made it much easier to go to the beach, which is beautiful. Had a lot of fun shelling. Would love to come back again!

We stayed in 4E. It was roomy enough for 2 people. There was room in the bathroom to store my necessities. Closet and dresser space was good. We didn't cook, but made coffee (bring your own filters). There was a laundry room, but bring your own detergent. The beach gear (chairs, umbrella, towels, shelling equipment) came in handy, as well as the bikes. Also, it was very quiet, which I loved. It was great!
