This apartment at Alinga Longa is a great family accommodation option. You will experience the relaxing atmosphere and unwind ready to enjoy all that Bright & it surrounds has to offer. Situated in a quiet complex of six apartments, The apartment is very well presented and recently re-decorated with full kitchen, dining and lounge area. There’s a great courtyard out back and a sunny deck in front to sit with a coffee or have a bbq.

Beyond the apartments there’s a great outdoor area which includes an undercover BBQ area, in-ground pool, shady trees and lawns. From the rear of the property there is direct access onto the Murray to Mountains Rail Trail. There is also a shared laundry available.

This property is managed on behalf of the owners by Bright Holidays (part of the Dickens Real Estate group)

A Lovely little cottage for a short stay….well located to all amenities & rail trail….easy walk to town. Only suggestion is to invest in some better pillows & stabilisers for the bunks frame….these things are ok to work around though - a nice little place overall…..very clean & well presented. Thank you for hosting us….wonderful stay.

Clean and tidy with comfy couches too. Close to the centre of town and great value for money. Pool was really cold because it’s shaded for a lot of the day but we really enjoyed our time here

Shocking bed that rolled into the middle, landscaping unkempt and property sitting under large transmission lines. Not expressed.

Affordable compared to other listings

The unit was well stocked but the cleanliness was average. It needed a dust, the couch had crumbs on it when we arrived and the sheets had hair stuck to them. Unfortunately, my kids slept with us in the main bedroom and on the couch because the beds make a lot of noise with any movement while laying in them and move a lot bc they’re on wheels, plus the ladder is not attached to the bunk bed. The complex is older but overall functional. The pool is shaded all day which can be a good thing on a hot day.

Unit was bit dated but I guess weren't expecting brand new. Had everything we needed plus was easy 1.2 klm walk to town. Wasn't happy with front & back decks being dirty & dusty plus full of cobwebs, unusable. Disappointing pool wasn't clean & useable. Probably prefer bit closer to town next time.

It's a good location with easy access to some lovely walks and not to far into town. Inside the unit is a decent size and functional but, to be honest, lacking a little character. Even one or two lamps would improve things.

Please change the room heater

Location represented on Stayz is misleading

The location of the property indicated on Stayz is completely misleading.. The map location and comments when booking stated the property is a 4 min walk to Centenary Park, when in reality it is a 20 min walk. The Property manager have advised that they have previously raised this issue with Stayz but they still have not changed the location. Very disappointed as the location was completely different to what was represented when we booked.

Hi, We were concerned about the level of mould and water damage. Small bedroom smelled strongly of mould. The bathroom needs a fan. There was water damage under the kitchen sink. The bunk bed was incredibly rickety and seemed unsafe. Check out time is not 10am, because keys have to be back by 10am. Not sure why lock box in car port couldn't be used

We will look into the mould problem as we haven't had any reports recently with regards to mould from the cleaners or anyone else but we'll certainly look into it. A dead bat was found under the couch. Fly screens in the kitchen and lounge room not secured. Grass in the back yard was almost knee high. The swimming pool was green and unfit for swimming. Very disappointing indeed and would never return again.

Disappointing

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Location, cleanliness and necessities were adequate however there were multiple factors that made our stay uncomfortable and inconvenienced us. We are 2 adults and 2 children, upon arrival only one of the children's bed was made up, the sheets were left out so we made it up ourselves. The main bed was terrible, when you sat on the bed it sunk and we were unable to have a restful sleep for the 4 nights that we stayed, leaving more exhausted than arriving. The back light was not working, which we only discovered when we went to BBQ our dinner (and could not see). The fan in the bathroom was not working so the bathroom steamed up or we froze as we opened the window to clear the steam. The bbq was not clean when we arrived and there were no supplies to adequately clean it - no paper towel, bbq wipes or other alternatives. There were random screws left on the bedside table and in the drawers which my daughter was curiously playing with when we arrived. It is disappointing that accommodation costs are relatively high in Bright yet the quality is not being kept up. The value for money of this property was not met in our eyes.
