We are genuinely sorry that the home did not meet your expectations, and we certainly understand that a concern involving a pet and an outdoor area would be upsetting. This is a one-bedroom, one-bathroom beachfront vacation rental, not a hotel, and the listing does clearly identify the home as accommodating up to four guests while also suggesting it most comfortably for two. The photos and description are intended to give guests a clear picture of the space, its layout, and its direct beachfront setting. While we allowed your one-night stay, we don't often have guests choose that short time. A one-night stay can also feel quite different from a typical vacation-rental experience, as these homes are furnished and operated as vacation homes rather than full-service hotels. That said, safety is always our priority. We take your concern regarding the deck area seriously and have shared your feedback with the homeowner, who handles the home's repairs, maintenance, and improvements. We will continue to work with them to address any areas that need attention. We appreciate you bringing your concerns to our attention and wish you well in finding accommodations that are a better fit for your next beach getaway.

Thank you for noting, we agree this quite the beachside spot! We're sorry to hear you struggled with pulling the mattress out of the brand new sofa sleeper (you were the first guest to use). We would have gladly helped you out had you contacted us. As for salt & pepper and ice trays, we weren't aware they were missing; however, we would have been happy to swing some by for you had we known. We're glad to hear overall you had a pleasant stay!
