Come winter, you can tame the slopes at one of three ski areas that are close by.

An autumn visit surprises visitors with stunning fall colors across the mountains, and is a perfect time to enjoy a scenic car ride a car ride along the beautiful Kancamagus Scenic Byway. This picturesque drive takes you through spectacular forests, vintage logging roads and across authentic-Indian hunting trails. And don`t miss the a visit to Franconia Notch State Park to see the spectacular 800-foot long and 90-foot tall Flume Gorge.

Top notch accomodations

Loved our stay here. Cleanliness, beautiful ammenities, comfortable bed. Hard to find anything negative to say, other than outdoor pool could have been cleaner, if someone on staff would skim both the floating bugs and leaves. Indoor pool and hot tub were very clean.

No balcony was listed as having one

At check in, we asked about the balcony and we’re told this room didn’t have one and nothing they could do because we went through Vrbo so I will warn others not to rent this room . False advertising !!!
