New tropical modern residence. Clean, stylish, concrete floors, open concept, folding glass walls to private pool. Casa Mariposa, or "Butterfly House", is named after its distinct mid-century modern roof design.

3 rooms + 3 king beds, 3.5 bathrooms, work desk, island kitchen, strong wifi, new appliances and chefs kitchen, outdoor bbq.

Four bikes included. Covered parking for one car.

Short stroll to town and beach. Private and quiet. One of the nicest, newest accommodations in Samara!

Ongoing Construction Site!!!

We were so looking forward to staying at this property! The photos looked amazing. First, house location is good— walking/biking distance to Samara Beach where there are restaurants, grocery stores, bakeries, banks and Alamo car rental. Bikes are available with house. Was nice to have washer/dryer & pool. That said, house could definitely use a refresh. Linens, window coverings , kitchen drawers/ sink drains , appliances & carpets all needed attention. Second, ongoing construction was extremely disruptive. To be fair, the listing does alert potential renters to construction. However, in conversation, host did believe most of the construction would be finished by the time we rented in early October. Unfortunately, this was not the case. The rental had been paid in full, and with guests visiting, it was challenging to find and change accommodations last minute. We made the best of it—but sadly a lot of money for a not so great stay

Hi April, we appreciate you taking the time to post a detailed review. we reviewed it with our property manager in detail and addressed items that needed to be taken care of. On a positive note We have had many renters in since your visit and the feedback has been exceptionally positive (5 star reviews). We apologize you felt differently. On the construction we note it in our property details to ensure guests are aware that noise and construction activity could be possible. It’s currently quiet and there has been no activity for any months. Again we sincerely apologize you didn't enjoy our home.

Super cool property

Super cool beautifully finished/furnished pad. Location was brilliant…we cycled everywhere as is the culture in Samara (our car remained parked for the duration of our stay!). Awesome chill town. We’d definitely return to it and to this villa! **IMPORTANT CAVEAT: there is significant happening construction immediately in front of this home. Owner Connor was great and transparent about this, but it was more than he or we anticipated. We were awakened by hammering/building/gravel-pouring noise every morning at 6:30am, and related noise/dust was ongoing until 4:30 each day. At time of review April 2022, this property is not suitable for anyone wanting to sleep in or just hang at the pool.

Spring Break

We had an amazing spring break trip! The owner was great with answering any questions and Jacquie, the onsite property manager, was amazing. She checked in on us and had some great recommendations for activities and dining in the area. The kids loved the pool and it was the perfect way to cool off after a day at the beach. Yes, there is some construction, but with a full day of adventures, we were up early anyways. Besides, the monkeys were louder anyway! Samara exceeded expectations....hope it doen't change.

Brand new near beach

The house was fantastic, my kids enjoyed the pool. The house was clean and well stocked with anything you might need. It is walking distance to samara beach and supermarket. The only negative for us was the construction going on in the neighboring homes

It's in a beautiful quiet part of Samara and only a short walk/bike to amenities, the beach and town. The space is bright and open with plenty of privacy and your own private pool.
