Windsurfer Beach Chalet - 5

One night stays available!
The Windsurfer Beach Chalets are located on the beach front and have the Offshore Coffee shop and bakery right next door, so it’s not far to go for the early morning coffee. It’s easy walk to the super market and park or take a stroll along the beach to the jetty for a bit of fishing then up to the Endeavour Tavern for lunch on the lawn.

The Chalets are fully self contained with everything you need for relaxing getaway, each has two bedrooms, with a Queen size bed in the main room and two set’s bunk beds in the second bedroom. There is ducted air conditioning as well.There is a covered courtyard available to all the Chalets that includes bbq’s, outdoor setting and garden area off the rear of the Chalets. Each Chalet has plenty of room for parking and there is also room for a boat or two.

All linen is supplied including towels.
The Main bedroom has a Queen Sized bed, Bedroom 2 has 2 sets of bunks (4 single adult-sized beds)
TV, DVD, Pedestal Fans, mini oil heaters.
Fully equipped kitchen including fridge, microwave, gas stove & oven
Bathroom/Toilet
Initial supplies of dishwashing liquid, spray cleaner, sponge, scourer & toilet rolls are supplied, additional requirements are to be provided by guests
Limited Tea/Coffee/Sugar provided.
All fish to be cleaned on the beach please!

Very disappointing stay for 344 a night. The bunk beds do not meet basic safety standards—there are no guard rails and no ladders, which is unsafe for children and pose as a serious safety risk. Cleanliness was poor overall:, an unclean shower with dirt around the floor and sinks, stained mattresses protectors and a stained couch. The shower fan was not working, and the cold water tap in the kitchen was broken. This property needs attention to safety, cleanliness, and maintenance.

Best location. Lovely sunsets from our balcony. Everythings at your fingertips and Cafe next door was an advantage with lovely staff and food.

We’re always made to feel welcome and as it’s a dog friendly property, our fur babies have been joining us on our vacation as it’s the perfect home away from home. The beach is over the road, café next door and a short stroll to the IGA and famous Lanno bakery. We love our chalet No 5 as it feels homely after staying there for 10 nights every year for the 9 years. But....... This time was different!! Chalet No 5 has changed!! We don’t like change..... and as they say......”When you’re on a good thing stick to it.” Some of the changes include...... Fresh paint through outDucted airconNew fridge New mattresses New taps throughout HUGE wall mounted smart TVNew owners. We love the new changes and we now love our Chalet No 5 even more!We’ll definitely be back..... fur babies and all!! Thank you Windsurfer Chalets 🙏

Worst Accommodation Management

Reviewer Comments: Worst that I have ever used.Management is irresponsible to their guest and ignore their safety due to lack of foresight.I understand no one can predict power failure but no backup plan and assistance to guest with generator or even offer torch lights/candles in total darkness in & outside the property. This is totally ignorance on the management in the eye of crisis.After 2 hrs of darkness and no assistance from the management we are "force' to leave as my wife & 3 young kids were cold, hungry (with uncooked food that we had purchased, tired, insecure and power nowhere in sight.What worst is the management failed to inform/pre-am us prior to our arrival on the power failure as it had happened a day before.

Some new rollers and locks on the sliders all round wouldn’t go astray. Needs a bit of maintenance.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I rented this accommodation because I was going to be spending time with family staying at the caravan park across the road. On arrival, I was pleased with the appearance and the facilities of the rental. I did notice the updated fittings in the bathroom and kitchen which was a nice touch. The dated and cracked toilet seat did let down the improvements though (highly recommend a new toilet seat). I was the only tenant so it did feel a little OTT. It is very much set up for the summer family holidays. Watching TV was not comfortable due to the TV location and seating arrangement. Not very warm in the colder weather and erosion on the screen doors prevents locking them.

I just think that the above listed items would make it better for someones stay.
