We loved the property. Great get away. The only factor keeping it from being excellent was the amount of hornets and yellow jackets at the pool. We were in the country in nature but it was a bit difficult to relax in the pool with the possibility of getting stung constantly. Everything else was perfect !!!!!! I'm sure the hornet and yellow jacket nests can be taken care of.

Thank you so much for the wonderful feedback! We’re thrilled to hear you loved the property and had a great getaway, and we truly appreciate you letting us know about the hornets and yellow jackets around the pool. We completely understand how that could make it difficult to fully relax, and we’re sorry for the inconvenience. We’ll make sure this is addressed and have the area inspected for any nests. We’re so glad everything else was perfect, and we hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back for an even better stay!

The property and casita are beautiful, very clean and comfortable. We greatly appreciated having a lot of towels for both the bathroom and the pool. No scrimping. The bed is super comfy. The location is quiet and private and there are birds and deer to watch from the big windows and the porch. We can’t say enough about the beautiful pool. All the restaurants and destinations of the area are a short drive away. We had a wonderful, rejuvenating long weekend. And the hosts are absolutely lovely. Thank you for a great stay.

Overall, the property was amazing. We looked forward to having our morning coffee on the porch with the bird watching as our free entertainment. I was able to practice my photography skills. I would give this stat 10 out of 10. My suggestion though because there is no cooktop is to add an electric fry pan to your appliance list. Also, a knife set to include steak knives as there was only one paring knife. My sleep score was as good as its ever been. I loved the super soft water. We also enjoyed our evening time at the pool which was very nice. Would most definitely recommend to my friends and will definitely stay here again on our next visit to Driftwood.

We’re glad you enjoyed the morning bird watching, had time for photography, and slept so well — the soft water and comfy bedding are favorites. Thanks for the kitchen suggestions; we’ll add an electric fry pan and a fuller knife set including steak knives. Happy you enjoyed the evenings at the pool and that you’d recommend us — we’d love to host you again on your next Driftwood visit.

We have stayed in these casitas numerous times and they never disappoint. They are beautifully decorated with a true hill country feel, the beds are amazingly comfortable, they are always clean and bright. The property itself is beautiful, with a little over a mile track that leads you up to a beautiful view of the hill country below and the pool is just awesome. It is spectacular and has the best jacuzzi I have ever been in. The hosts are wonderful people who are also amazing hosts. We rented both casitas this time and had friends stay in the one we didn't use. They fell in love with the place as well. We just didn't want to leave at the end of our stay. I know we will be back again, and I have no doubt our friends will as well. Definitely a 5 Star stay!

We were in town to be in a wedding at the Memory Lane Venue and needed a place that was close by so we could help with all things wedding for the weekend. The casita was adorable, and honestly we wish that we could have spent more time there but we mostly just slept and got ready to leave again. The owners were very sweet, very helpful and ultimately we would stay here again. It was very clean and the property is very close to the cutest coffee house that I will miss terribly! Our final morning before we drove back we were able to sit on the porch and watch all the birds. Can't say enough great things!

Thank you so much for your kind words! We’re really glad the casita was a good fit for your wedding weekend and that the location made everything a bit easier during such a busy time. It’s great to hear you enjoyed the space, even if just for resting and getting ready, and that you were able to slow down a bit on your last morning and enjoy the porch and the birds. Those quiet moments can be the best part. We truly appreciate your compliments about the cleanliness and hospitality.
