This property was very cozy and was well equipped with amenities. The host was extremely helpful and clearly put a lot of thought into the cottage. The sunroom/craft room was a favourite spot to relax and admire the lake view during our stay.

The perfect stay for our group of 4 couples. Very clean with beautiful decor. Kitchen was well equipped for all our needs. We enjoyed beautiful lake side views from the sunroom and a spectacular lightning show in the evening. The large deck has plenty of comfortable seating. The marsh across the road was a bonus with many different spieces of birds. Jen was an ideal host, made sure we were comfortably settled in and quick to respond to our questions. We would definitely recommend.

We had a great stay at the lake cottage! The front room facing the lake was our favourite spot… we spent many hours sitting chatting and enjoying the serene view. The house was well stocked and the location was perfect for wine tasting and experiencing Essex County. A perfect space for an extended family visit.

Perfect lakeside retreat

Everything was wonderful and very comfortable, as advertised. Location ideal for winery tour during our stay. Host Jen was readily available if needed, but all was provided and taken care of beforehand...welcome basket was a nice touch...thanks! Great property with four full bedrooms and a great view of the lake (with an nice cool breeze on the hot days). Just up the road is a nice park where you can play horse shoes or pickleball. Finally, the owner paid attention to all the details a traveler would need.

Perfect Place on the Water

Four of us were in the area for a work trip and opted to find a cottage to rent rather than stay in a hotel, and this place was perfect. It was great to come back at the end of the day and be right on the water. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you could need, and Jen was super responsive to questions. I'd love to go back when I'm not working to be able to explore the area more!

The views are incredible. There is lots to do in the area but we cocooned in the house for our visit because it was just so perfectly cozy. Such a unique setting. The hosts are kind, responsive, and welcoming. They have things set up for your comfort and have provide everything you need for a relaxing stay. We cannot wait to book again in the future!

Great Place for a Vacay!
