Absolutely an amazing place to stay, very secluded and the wildlife is amazing as is the pool and the entire property, very easy to immediately feel right at home.

Designed to embrace Queensland's tropical lifestyle, this magnificent property has expansive spaces that can comfortably accommodate up to 12 guests across its two levels, featuring six en-suite bedrooms.

Prepare to embark on an exciting journey of discovery as you enter the property. The secure gated, private driveway meanders through the world heritage-listed rainforest, leading you to the hillside house. The parking area offers garage space for three vehicles and outdoor space for several more, ensuring your comfort and convenience from the moment you arrive.

Both levels are wheelchair-friendly on arrival, ensuring accessibility for all guests.

On the upper main level, you'll find three king-size bedrooms, each with its own en-suite and breathtaking views. The 90m² master bedroom is a luxurious haven with spacious closets, a double vanity, a large walk-in shower, a spa bath, and even a bidet.

The upper level encompasses an expansive living and dining space, complete with two large dining tables, comfortable couches, and a large screen TV. The fully equipped open kitchen, with its sea views, seamlessly integrates with the living and dining areas, boasting a dishwasher, oven, microwave, and two large fridges and freezers. A separate pantry and laundry room, equipped with a washing machine, dryer, iron, and ironing board, provide additional convenience. A standalone guest powder room is also situated on this floor. The highlight of the upper level is undoubtedly the vast full-length front balcony, where you can soak in the panoramic ocean views and the enchanting world heritage surroundings.

For a truly magical experience, step into the rear entertaining and cocktail verandah, adorned with a soothing waterfall feature, adding to the dreamlike tropical ambiance.

The lower level of the house features three more generously appointed king-size bedrooms, each with its own en-suite bathroom and spectacular view. Alternatively, the bedrooms can be arranged with two king single beds in each room upon request. All bedrooms are equipped with their own TV for your entertainment.

The substantial balconies in front of the rooms create a vast entertaining area connected to the pool entrance, where you'll find a bar/kitchen facility. The glass-gated private pool facility beckons you to indulge in its heated (in winter months) saltwater-chlorinated infinity swimming pool and heated spa. Spectacular! As good as it gets in Port Douglas!
Spectacular – is the only word to describe THE SANCTUARY Port Douglas.
Lazing in the large horizon edge pool overlooking cane fields, Port Douglas
and the Coral Sea beyond it’s easy to leave the world behind.
Nestled in the tranquility of the surrounding rainforest yet only a few minutes
drive to Macrossan Street shops and restaurants we were amazed by the
feeling of calm and serenity in this grand tropical retreat.

Breathtaking. You won't regret this stay.
This is one of the most amazing stays we've had . Our group consisted of 4 siblings and their respective families, and it was great! The view is breathtaking, the house is huge and location is remote enough but so close to Port Douglas! The photos make it look like its very secluded and remote - which it is, but only a very short drive into town and very close to the nearby shops.
Do yourself a favour, you won't regret this stay.

Hidden gem in the foothills of Port Douglas.
This is a hidden gem in the foot hills of Port Douglas. Although situated out of town its only 12 minutes drive into town. The house is surrounded by natural vegetation and the views of the surrounding hills and the sea line is outstanding. As you drive into the property you follow a small road twisting through the natural vegetation which kicks off the relaxation mode. The house is very open for sharing with each others with other sections of the house secluded to continue winding down and picking up a good book. There is something amazing to view from all parts of the house and you can't help but feel apart of the natural environment. Its a great place for families to stop and catch up with each other while enjoying the views. The adults kicked back while the kids lapped up the pool and spa.... it made for a very enjoyable week. The hospitality and cleanliness was an added bonus!
