Spectacular – is the only word to describe THE SANCTUARY Port Douglas.
Lazing in the large horizon edge pool overlooking cane fields, Port Douglas
and the Coral Sea beyond it’s easy to leave the world behind.
Nestled in the tranquility of the surrounding rainforest yet only a few minutes
drive to Macrossan Street shops and restaurants we were amazed by the
feeling of calm and serenity in this grand tropical retreat.

Breathtaking. You won't regret this stay.
This is one of the most amazing stays we've had . Our group consisted of 4 siblings and their respective families, and it was great! The view is breathtaking, the house is huge and location is remote enough but so close to Port Douglas! The photos make it look like its very secluded and remote - which it is, but only a very short drive into town and very close to the nearby shops.
Do yourself a favour, you won't regret this stay.

Hidden gem in the foothills of Port Douglas.
This is a hidden gem in the foot hills of Port Douglas. Although situated out of town its only 12 minutes drive into town. The house is surrounded by natural vegetation and the views of the surrounding hills and the sea line is outstanding. As you drive into the property you follow a small road twisting through the natural vegetation which kicks off the relaxation mode. The house is very open for sharing with each others with other sections of the house secluded to continue winding down and picking up a good book. There is something amazing to view from all parts of the house and you can't help but feel apart of the natural environment. Its a great place for families to stop and catch up with each other while enjoying the views. The adults kicked back while the kids lapped up the pool and spa.... it made for a very enjoyable week. The hospitality and cleanliness was an added bonus!
