Lovely Stay

We had a wonderful time. The property was quintessential Vermont and the Florida visitors couldn’t have asked for more. We came for the eclipse and stayed for the snowboarding! The host was extremely helpful. We will definitely come again!

Spring Skiing at Jay

Charming property on a beautiful, roaring creek that winds around the back of the home. Very close to Jay skiing. The accommodations were very comfortable including all beds, plenty of supplies, linens and towels. The only issue was the oven heated to 300degrees max.

Absolutely gorgeous

We loved our stay and wished we could’ve extended our stay. The location of the house is perfect, close to jay peak resort and only an hour away from Stowe. The creek behind the house is to die for. The house is clean and you can find anything you need. We will definitely be back!

Cozy Cabin near Jay Peak

We had a fantastic experience at the cabin. It was ideal for a group of guys on a ski trip to Jay Peak. It is located roughly 2 miles from the mountain for easy access right off a main route. The cabin nestles nicely into the woods along side a babbling brook that creates a great setting. You're one mile from a local store that can provide a lot of your needs. You're a few miles from a couple of restaurants that offer a variety of choices. We'd happily stay again.

Great Little House

My daughter and I had a wonderful time staying at this property for a ski vacation. The house was fully stocked with everything you need. The spiral staircase is a little challenging to get your bags to the second floor but all the rooms are very comfortable. Jay Peak was 3 min away which was very convenient. Steven the owner went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and was always available for any questions. Great stay we will be back!

Unique house in a calming setting

We loved the uniqueness of the house. The creek in the back yard provided a constant state of serenity, keeping the house windows cracked so we could always hear it. Everything we needed was provided. The spiral staircase would certainly be a challenge for anyone with mobility issues, as is advertised but added to the houses unique style. Loved how close it was to both Jay Peak Resort and Newport area.

Absolutely perfect!

The location is ideal between Jay Peak Resort and Jay Village. It's minutes away from both. It is also nicely nestled between a brook and the road for easy access to the street. We would love to come back in the spring, summer, or fall to enjoy the garden/patio and brook a little more. The comfort of the home for a whole week's vacation was greatly appreciated. We were able to enjoy homemade breakfasts and dinners. We went out twice and had fun in Newport where we ate by the lake and finished the night with a movie One Love.

Great place to stay, minutes from Jay slopes, groceries, restaurants etc. Host was very responsive and helpful solving some internet issues. Be aware that cell phone coverage is useable but weak at the house location, depending on your carrier. Ours was Verizon. I'd definitely rent this again.

Jay Peak Holiday Break Trip

Our family of five came up to Jay Peak for some holiday break skiing. The property was as described, well maintained, and clean. Steven was the consummate host and communicative before and during our stay. The view off the back deck is picturesque and the sound of the running brook is welcome natural white noise. During our 4 night stay we enjoyed the Pump House Water Park at the resort and The Belfry restaurant down the road. When it was too warm and rainy to ski, we went into Morrisville to see a movie at the historic Bijou theater. We recommend Lost Nation and Rock Art breweries in town as well.

Love the rushing water

Beautiful mountain stream and fun to wade in with swimming hole and rope swing just a few more yards up stream. Nice caretaker. The house was what we needed, but needs some tender loving care. We live in a highly wooded area in Maryland, so very use to that experience and did not detract for our enjoyment, but could see purely city living people having to adjust. Kids were a bit cramped in their rooms, but your not spending any time in them except to sleep. Location is what we wanted (away from any hustle and bustle) Master bed room was quite large and comfortable.

Cozy Mountain home

We had a great stay at the property. I love the unique decor and style of the home. It has a working fireplace. We didn’t use it as the weather wasn’t cold enough but adds a cozy touch to the room. The weather was great (mid 60’s during the day). The area is nice and quiet. Jay Peak is about 5 minutes away if you visit during ski season. We were here for a hockey tournament.There is a country store just minutes away that is worth a visit. They sell just about everything there. We enjoyed time outside by the stream. The home was fully equipped with plates, cups ,utensils paper towels, napkins, toiletries ect. I would recommend a stay at the home.

Relaxing stay by the a creek

My two teenagers and I really enjoyed our week in Jay. The house was very comfortable and had everything we needed for a weeks stay. The creek out back and swimming hole up the way were fantastic after a day of hiking and exploring the area. The spiral staircase is tight but manageable. Steve the property manager is awesome! He knows the area and has great tips for your stay. He responded quickly to all of my text. Would definitely stay here again. The kids loved the Foosball table.

Amazing property

What an amazing, eclectic home on the river just down the road from Jay Peak. Stayed there for spring skiing, amazing snow down along the water, fires in the snow after a day of skiing. Love the sound if the roaring water, fireplace and just a fun house

Awesome place right near Jay!

Perfect location for a ski getaway with some college buddies. The house was clean and Steven was very accommodating. Highly recommend this spot!

Good, clean place on a creek with low car traffic. The host was easy to work with and accommodating. Five minutes from Jay Peak resort. Would stay again.
