River Duck Cottage - Kerikeri - Peaceful Location

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place or couples retreat. Gorgeous surroundings with our friendly ducks roaming the property. View the gorgeous river and feed the ducks if you so desire. This 3-bedroom cottage can accommodate 6 people. We have 2 x Queen size beds and 2 x single beds. Portable cot available. fully functional kitchen/Shower and outdoor seating to take in the view. The property is on 2 1/2 acres and the River is on our property. No river views from the Cottage. All children must be accompanied by an adult when viewing the river. Great spot for picnics or relaxing. No swimming in the River, our eels are huge :) We also provide a Nespresso Coffee Machine, salt, pepper, oil, Milk, tea, coffee and sugar.

Smart TV with Netflix and Wi-Fi. Sky TV, Samsung washing machine and dryer combo. Outdoor furniture and bbq. 8mins to the Kerikeri Township.

Cooking with strong odours is prohibited in our cottage at all times, we have a BBQ outside when cooking with curries and spices.
We have parking at the front of the Airbnb for your convenience. Room for a boat. There is no car cleaning or boat cleaning on our premises as we are on tank water. Thank you.

Perfectly presented House in a quiet spot

The house was presented immaculately and the owners were just great to deal with. We were on a boys golf trip and the four beds accommodated us well. The property is situated in a really nice quiet area. The house had everything we needed including a nice clean bbq and sky sports. This house is perfect for any group of 4 and I would highly recommend it. We really enjoyed our time there and look forward to coming back again one day.

Easter weekend stay

Great location, very clean with all necessary amenities. Very quiet and serene. We really enjoyed our stay. Nice space for those with smaller kids as it’s all fenced off and has a cute pond nearby. Only thing I’d add is more dining chairs as there’s only 4 and we were a family of 6 so couldn’t really sit together and didn’t want to use the couches as they are white. This is more of a nice to have and not a criticism. Would highly recommend.

A beautiful place

One of the best baches we have stayed in. It had everything you need to have a comfortable stay (check the cupboards) and was fenced which was great for letting the kids run around. The house and the location are even better than in the photos

Nothing more required

This was a great place to be our base for Kerikeri & its beautiful surroundings, I would definitely recommend this to others. The house was warm, and comfortable and had lots of mod cons. Just the right size for a family of four, on lovely grounds. We even picked grapefruit on our last day! Thanks for being such great hosts Nicole & Jim.

Highly recommend

Lovely property, well maintained, comfortable and had everything we needed. Our girls (4 and 7) loved the grassy area and watching the bunnies out the window. Waipapa has a lot to offer, but also Kerikeri a short drive away. Highly recommend.

Perfect family stay

About us: Jim is a local tiler and is known as (Jim the tiler) by locals. We love meeting new people and also love to travel. We have a lovely old dog on the property called Cesar.
Guests come first and making sure everyone is happy is our ultimate goal.

Why this property? It's a stunning place to visit. The Bay Of Islands has so much to offer and we call it our piece of paradise. Our ducks, pukekoes and Rabbits are part of our family and they roam around freely enjoying their home, the fact is they never leave. The ducks walk around the property like they own the place :) The river makes great photo opportunities and we will put up more photo's over time.
