Relaxing race weekend

The units were amazing, the only issue was the shower water in units 3 & 4 didnt warm up so thankfully we also had unit 2 to use, it had warm water. We communicated with the owner but it didnt get fixed.

Family Reunion nearby

Nice place, no frills. It was comfortable and we mainly used it for sleeping as we were spending most if our time with family. Would be nicer if it had wifi and cellular capabilities.

Peaceful, creek sounds, beautiful weather!

The cabin itself was a great place for my elderly mom due to a bedroom and 3/4 bath down stairs. Upstairs was comfy for our teen son and ourselves. The cabin had all we needed to meet our needs and wants!

Secluded

Pretty place, if having cell service or Wi-Fi is important-this isn’t the place for you. I will say AFTER I booked is when I found out about no service-I was emaiIed the info. reread the VRBO and I didn’t see that. It was still a good trip, bring drinking water.

Cute and quaint little mountain house

We had a nice stay. Area is quiet and tucked back in the mountain, but still close to towns, parks, and plenty to do. Dog friendly, with a balcony style porch overlooking the creek below. No cell service or wifi, great for a night of board games with the family. Steep driveway, careful in the winter. Property Managers Mickey and Nicole where great.

This property was not exactly what we expected. We did not realize there was no cell service until it was too late to cancel. This is a deal breaker for future stays.

Missing Lots of Basics

The place was very clean with ample towels, soap, etc. However, this property is missing a lot of basics that one would expect from a place with 3 bedrooms. There is apparently an issue with drinking the water, so the information said bottled water would be provided....6 bottles of water and a partial gallon jug in the fridge is not sufficient for 4 days with 2 adults and 3 kids. There is no cell phone or internet service at this location, but good info is provide on emergency numbers...however these won't do you any good because there is no land line either! This is a huge safety issue given that this property is up a very long and very steep driveway. There also were no draperies or blinds over the front double glass doors...drapery rod was there, but no drapes...thus no privacy from people in other units walking by. There is only one full bathroom and it has a standup shower only and that is an issue with small children. Should be a combination tub & shower. Also no washer and dryer or dish washer. Cabinet space is very limited and there is no pantry either, so most of the provisions we brought just filled up the counter and floor. The pot selection for cooking also left a lot to be desired. We would not rent this place again, especially if bringing small children.
