A secluded family home at the top of a long driveway. Wooded property in the Cherokee National Forest, Watauga Ranger District, with mountain views, front, and back. Large fenced-in backyard with fire ring, and back porch and patio with grill and accessories. Excellent front porch! Upstairs: open-living space with two bedrooms, a fully-stocked kitchen, and two full bathrooms. There is space for the entire family to relax, play games, watch movies. One large bedroom downstairs with a queen bed, futon, full bath, 40 inch T.v. The upstairs garage has exercise equipment, children's toys, outdoor games, etc. Closet space in second upstairs b/r is large and could accommodate a toddler or baby bed. We were here for a wedding and needed a house that could accommodate a place for grandkids to hang out and play vs being in a hotel room. This house was great for that. Beautiful location not far from Johnson City. House was clean and as advertised. Host was great. Thank you!

The cabin is roomy with a nice kitchen, living room, TV room, and a game area to hang out. There is plenty of parking and wonderful outdoor space. It has a great front porch for morning and evening reading. I would definitely stay here again.

Peaceful location- feels far from everywhere but it’s only a few minutes from town. Lots of wildlife. Plenty of space for families to spread out. The kitchen has all the essentials that you would need. The primary bed is VERY comfortable. Our grandkids loved playing with the toys and running around in the back yard. We will definitely stay here again.

This place is cozy feeling, but plenty of space for everyone to be doing different activities. It’s in a great location, in wooded area with deer and other wildlife. But it’s not too far for going out and enjoying Johnson City! Julie was easy to communicate with, quick response's. We really enjoyed this place and would be back again!

My best friend and I take a joint-family trip every year. We had kids, pets and grandma staying with us this year and this cabin accommodated all of our needs. It was easy to navigate to town when needed, provided plenty of privacy between each other within the cabin and there was lots of nature to be enjoyed. We enjoyed walks in the neighborhood, deer in the yard every morning, and a beautiful view of the night sky during a meteor shower. If we make our way up to Unicoi again, we hope we are able to snag this place again before it gets booked.

This property is better than advertised. The owner responds quickly and is easy to work with. The kitchen is nicely stocked, comfortable beds, hot water, and a great location. I would definitely recommend staying here and will return in the future.

Only issue we had was there was a mix up with the cleaning people when we got there. Julie took care of it immediately and did everything she could for the situation and no hick ups after that. Nice stay! Accommodations were perfect for us! Great location

Johnson City Visit

Amazing property that words don’t describe. Close to anything you want in the area but feel like you are in your own private mountain when at the lodge. Hosts were very welcoming and helpful. Would highly recommend to anyone visiting the area and will 100% stay again when we return.

A pleasant stay

Overall it was a nice stay. We had fun watching the deer and exploring the area. The only disappointment was that there was no playset in the yard. Our daughter and grandchildren came up for one night and that would have been appreciated it.
