Relax and enjoy the sea views. Our bach is the perfect holiday escape for two couples. The couch has a fold out bed and there is a single fold up rollaway available for extra guests/children.

The front deck features a large dining table and gas BBQ plus fabulous views of Hokianga harbour, sand dunes and often stunning sunsets.

Other features include: a dishwasher, washing machine, SKY TV, DVDs, games, and books.

It's a short walk to the beach, 4Square, cafe, takeaways & pub.

We had a wonderful time exploring the Hokianga, and found Sarah's property the perfect place from which to do so. The bach provides gorgeous views of the harbour and the dunes, and is located conveniently to the beach, as well as grocery and takeaway options.

An absolute gem of a getaway!

We decided to pay a bit more than the local motel rate, to celebrate a birthday, and we were rewarded tenfold with this beautiful bach. The owners have provided their guests with all the comforts of home, the location is perfect and the view breathtaking We will return for longer next time, thanks for an awesome stay!

Wonderful location. The Ngawha hot pools were amazing. The house is a home away from home. Very cosy and lovely laid out space. Has everything you need. Only negative comment is house was tidy but could do with a deep clean. Would stay here again. And recommend for families.

Clean tidy home away from home.

Nice spot to chill out for a winter week-end away from home. Quiet location - walk to harbour - easy drive to other walks and attractions in the area. Well equipped cosy cottage. Would definitely return.

Opononi Short Break

We spent a few days exploring the Hokianga using Opononi Sunsets as a base. We were very comfortable and enjoyed the view and the peace and quiet. The house is well appointed and we had everything we needed.

Delightful place to hang out

This is a nice little place with a good floor plan and an awesome view from the handy front deck. While the place is a little dated, it is well cared for and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. All in all, an excellent value for the money. The owner was very nice and easy to deal with as well.

Four of us stayed, we fished for Kahawai off the nearby beach, caught 1 which we smoked. Then caught 2 more which was dinner. A brilliant place to stay.

Perfect Bach for exploring area

The house had everything we needed for our short stay- very clean, well stocked kitchen, and extra seating for the deck. The view from the deck is gorgeous and we were treated to beautiful sunsets. It is an easy walk to the takeaway/grocery shop/pub and Thai restaurant. Would definitely recommend.
