Amazing view from a tired old house
Rating Details:
The property manager was adequately helpful.
The vacation rental was somewhat dirty.
I was more than happy with the location.
I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental.
Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental.

The pros: Just a short 100m walk to the goat track that leads down to Depot beach, an amazing and private slice of paradise. The views from the house are also spectacular. Comfy couch, good TV and WIFI was great. Beds were very comfy and linen of high quality.The cons: The house itself is very old and tired, and had a musty smell to it. Few cobwebs about, particularly on the patio where you most enjoy the view from, and downstairs area was unfurnished with lots of empty boxes and bits and pieces around the place (skis, camping equipment etc). Light in the second bedroom didnt work, roller blinds were very dirty and mouldy, and main toilet is broken. Plumber came by but said it is unfixable, requiring manual intervention to flick the float in the toilet so it would stop running. Dining chairs also fairly tired and rickety (think unrenovated original 70’s)If you’re okay with an old house in a good spot, this property could be good. However, we have stayed at heaps of different properties up and down the south coast over the years (approx 20+) and this one would go towards the bottom of our list. It has been the oldest and most tired, with a hefty price tag and exorbitant cleaning fee.
