Centrally located with only 150m walk to the nearest cafe and 200m to the old town of Oamaru. Super warm, sunny and containing all the modern conveniences, this cottage will allow you to relax in comfort and style whilst exploring all the best of Oamaru on foot - no need for a car as it is so close to everything!

This property is absolutely beautiful. We only had time for an overnight stay, but would highly recommend it for a longer stay. There is a steep walk up to the property, but there is just about everywhere in NZ. The accommodation is spotlessly clean and walking distance to the seals and penguins. Great place to stay.

Perfect!

We stayed one night for our 10 year anniversary and it was perfect for us! Nice and warm, comfy bed, had a great sleep, loved the deck, and great location, within walking distance of everywhere we wanted to go but a nice, quiet area too! we walked down to Del Mar on the waterfront and had dinner, was all very romantic! We were even left some delicious cheese and crackers! Nice touch and much appreciated! Thank you katrina!

Beautiful, Sweet Cottage

Loved our stay here. It is walking distance to the Victorian Precinct and many shops and cafes. Was very quiet at night. The cottage is so pretty...beautiful wallpaper, art, linen curtains, comfy hotel-style sheets and towels. We had everything we needed and it was very clean. There is even an ocean view from the lounge.

Omarama Treasure

This would be one of the best places we have stayed in, beautifully set up and a real home away from home. Katrina and Neville were excellent hosts informing us about the area and suggesting a number of places to visit in this special part of NZ. We do so hope that we can return and strongly suggest that a stay of more than one night would be a positive idea.

Would highly recommend little sweetie - it was beautifully presented. We had a lovely welcome gift and info on what was in the area. Katrina was great to deal with- she answered all my questions and wanted to make sure we had a great time for our catch up

Lovely overnight spot

This was a great place to stay on our first night in NZ--quiet, clean, comfortable and the host was very responsive and welcoming. Pretty house, with all amenities. Easy walking distance to downtown and all attractions of Oamaru. Highly recommended.

Brilliant little house. Beautifully presented with everything we needed. The additional 2nd toilet was brilliant with 2 couples staying. Beds were super comfy and the location to explore the Victorian Quarter was fantastic. Highly recommended.

Lovely cottage

Period cottage close to historic area, nicely decorated, very clean, well-equipped and well kept. A few (minor) negatives - steep gravel driveway (can't walk down in flat bottom shoes), no toiletries (such as shampoo), and the washer/dryer is a combo unit so dryer is not vented and takes forever (fortunately, drying racks provided).

Wow what a property, the pictures don’t do it justice. The beds were super comfy. Amazing view and so close to everything. Wish we could have stayed longer.
