Bilby Spa Lodge is a very private luxurious, architecturally designed 3 bedroom lodge overlooking the vast views of Mount George inside Eaglereach Wilderness resort. All the must haves for a family getaway or romantic retreat for couples, including outdoor hot tub and indoor fireplace(seasonal) for those cool winter evenings. Bilby will surprise the most discerning of travellers with the attention to detail and incredible quality of fixtures and furnishings. Great place to enjoy the peace of the bush environment and soak up the breath taking views.
The main bedroom has a King size bed will ensuite. Second bedroom has a queen bed with ensuite and third bedroom has a queen bed. There is also a main bathroom.
Relax on the large wrap-around deck, which offers outside living at its best. Cook dinner on the BBQ or in the full size kitchen and enjoy dining on the deck.
Spoil yourself with the luxury of a private undercover outdoor hot tub which sits within a natural environment and looks out towards a stunning Panoramic view which will take your breath away. Plus a separate cabana and BBQ area.
You will have access to all resort facilities including swimming pool, tennis court, lagoon and games pavilion.
Enjoy the natural beauty of the bush where kangaroos, wallaby’s and other native wildlife wander freely around the lodges. Only 2 hours on the M1 from Sydney and only 45 drive to either Hunter Valley Wineries or Barrington Tops nature reserve.

We loved our stay on the mountain and had alot of fun doing all the activities at the resort and relaxiing with the wallabies. It is the perfect getaway to have some time alone with your partner.

My partner and I loved staying at Susan's property. The views were insane, having the wildlife around us was awesome to see, we saw a possum, Kookaburras, many kangaroos and wallabies. The jacuzzi was soooo good, we enjoyed our time in it with the amazing views close by. The fireplace was perfect for keeping the living room warm at night during winter.Some downsides is that all the bedrooms were locked, except for the large room for my partner and I, which is fine but misleading if you needed access to another room. A little misleading as you'd think you have access to the entire property, and I've never stayed at a place where they locked the rooms for the number of guests going. Three other small issues are that half of the lights on the property were not working and there are so many light switches it's a hard to find out which switch is for what. I wish the property had a bit more privacy in the backyard area. We can see other people in the cabins nearby, that's just personal preference and lastly the small heater in the bedroom did nothing to keep the room warm at night, but there were extra blankets available to use and the heater in the living room was perfect. Overall my partner and I had an amazing time, with plenty to do around and on the property. We would definitely go back.

Perfect weekend break

What an amazing view when you walk around to the back of the house. Driving to the house up the winding road, you already know it is going to be special but it still takes your breath away when you get there. We went in summer, the swimming pool was great and all facilities well maintained. The house was comfortable and we will definitely go back. A very special place.

Stunning location and comfortable cabin

A beautiful location and the cabin was lovely with bathrooms for all, stunning views, loads of wildlife, a great hot spa. The fire place was wonderful and the cabin was very comfy and warm. The communications were a little stilted and confusing, and some of the kitchen china and stores needed checking. There was no info on the facilities, I have to say the doors got me, lol, we got there in the end. A stove dial was broken and super hard to turn off. The spa also went on and off all night (perhaps it just needs a quick heat early morning instead?) which was a bit challenging for the kids in the bedroom next to the spa. Many thanks

Such a beautiful spot! A great way to separate from the stress of work, COVID, whatever it is you need to get away from - this is the place to unwind, connect with nature, and recharge. My only complaint is that we were asked to provide personal information (such as copies of drivers licence) to gain access to the accommodation which was not outlined as a requirement when we booked. Some aspects of the property were in need of attention, such as broken flyscreens and cracked tiles but this was minor and overall the accommodation was neat, clean, and visually appealing.

Wilderness house

Great house if you want wilderness and being close to nature. Would of liked to be told about the road closure taking us off road for a few km’s prior to booking. House had great facilities and loved the integration with nature.
