The house was beautiful with comfortable furniture and beds, and a great view of the channel, lighthouse, and Lake Michigan. It has everything needed for a wonderful, enjoyable stay. I loved the kitchen! Location was quiet with easy proximity to parks and walks. We enjoyed walks on the beach and watching a freighter come into the channel. A short drive to a lovely downtown area with lots of shops and restaurants. Communication with the host was quick and easy. It was an exceptional stay. We will be back!

Amazing beach vacation

Amazing clean house, in a perfect spot right across from the beach. The house was perfect for a family gathering, it was clean, well stocked, and plenty of space for six adults. We will definitely stay here again!

Location is great!

It was our second year of rental of this beach house. The location across from the playground and beach met the needs of our young family beautifully. The house is almost at the end of the terminus of a road, so safety was high and traffic noise did not bother us. The house is clean and well-appointed with lots of towels, including beach towels, and a large table for dining both inside and out. The addition of beach toys in the shed, laundry baskets in each bedroom, and plenty of plates, cutlery, and cookware for our family were much appreciated. We especially enjoyed the large viewing windows overlooking Lake Michigan, where we could admire the sunset from the comfort of a sofa. The owner was very responsive and communication was excellent from start to finish. Overall, it was a relaxing and joyful week for us.

By far this is the nicest place we have stayed at. We always take a trip with friends in October, will always remember this with fond memories.

Such a great place to stay. They had all the amenities we needed. Was so fun seeing the ice on Lake Michigan. We would definitely stay again when we are in the area. Place was clean and quite honestly, just like the pictures which is rare. If you are questioning it, just reserve it... you will love it. Host answered any questions I had and alerted us to someone coming to shovel.

Adorable house

Nicely decorated house right across the street from the beach. Pickle ball, volleyball, playground, beach concession all across the street. Private firepit in the yard. Plenty of outdoor seating to relax and eat meals. We had 4 adults and 3 children and there was plenty of room for us all.

Absolutely AMAZING! The house is gorgeous and very clean. The view of Lake Michigan from the front window is speechless. This house is located close to everything Manistee has to offer. The owners were very nice and quick to respond to any questions we had. This was our first stay in Manistee and won’t be our last at this house. Thank you so much for this wonderful experience.

Great location

Beautiful home, spacious for a friends get together. Steps away from the beach and lighthouse. Spectacular views from large windows and outdoor seating. Property owner very responsive to questions. We had a wonderful time relaxing and taking in the sites and downtown area. Can’t wait to come back!
