Imagine waking up to the sound of waves crashing on the beach and the smell of freshly brewed Colombian coffee. You can eat your breakfast and plan your day on the private balcony watching the fishermen bring in their nets full of fish.
Every window of the apartment faces the ocean so you feel as if you are on a cruise ship. On the balcony, you feel the vibrancy of a Caribbean beach which is filled with the sounds of laughter and dancing. If you want to sunbathe you can go to the beautiful pool on the top floor of the building with a breathtaking panoramic view of all of Cartagena. If you prefer a dip in the sea, on the beach you can rent a chair and umbrella and spend a few hours enjoying the crashing waves, fruit vendors who carry their baskets on their heads, and locals hawking everything from pearl necklaces to flip-flops. After a refreshing shower, the day is not complete without a quick taxi ride to the Old City to wander the streets filled with music, art, and Colonial architecture.
