I have never provided a negative Vrbo review, but have to say I felt like this listing was very misleading. We were also a little surprised by the bedrooms and kitchen.The listing shows this house as "lakefront." It is not, it has a lake view from across the street. In the property photos it shows a dock. The dock is a community dock down the street which is basically in some one's backyard so you would never feel comfortable using. It also looks extremely old and in disrepair. The bedroom linens have a lot to be desired. The only pillows that were provided in the room that I stayed in had a decorative sham over that was a tapestry material. I cannot imagine anyone wanting to put their head on this as a pillow. This was also the cover provided. The master was not mush better.The cabinets in the kitchen all needed to be thoroughly cleaned which made us question every utensil. We cleaned everything before using. The house has potential, but needs quite a bit of care before I feel that it would be up to par of other Vrbo's that we have stayed in. We really felt like it was furnished at a flea market. Really not trying to be mean. Our contact for the weekend was very responsive when we reached out.

Our stay was unfortunately very disappointing, and the property did not meet the expectations set by the listing.There were numerous maintenance and cleanliness issues throughout the home. The queen bed had no sleeping pillows—only decorative pillows—which made it unusable until we found other pillows. The trash can was covered with old chewing gum, which was unpleasant and unsanitary. The hot tub had a noticeable green tint, so we didn’t feel comfortable using it.The listing was also deceptive regarding the room layout and accommodations, which was frustrating after arriving. Several items in the home were not functioning properly, including a bedroom light/ceiling fan. Towels were only provided in one bathroom despite the home accommodating multiple guests.Safety was also a concern. One of the lamps appeared to be a fire hazard due to its condition. Additionally, the comforter on the king bed smelled like dirty hair and did not seem freshly cleaned.To top it off, the doorbell made an extremely loud buzzing noise that sounded like an electric razor, which was both startling and annoying.Overall, this property needs significantly better cleaning, maintenance, and more accurate advertising. Based on our experience, I would not stay here again or recommend it to others

Front porch living

Overall a great place to stay and easy to find. Not exactly "lakefront" as advertised, as it was across the street with no lake frontage. However, views from the front porch were nice. The large circular seating area was a favorite spot.

Nice peaceful location

In need of a deep cleaning. Missing wash clothes and dish towels and missing extra paper towels and toilet paper. Overall it was comfortable and served its purpose for attending the races at Bristol.

The local contact was completely nonexistent. Never responded to any emails or communication. Guest room bed reeked of urine and was stained yellow. Everything else in the property was fine.
