Hummingbird House was a wonderful place for a mother-daughter trip to Murphy and surrounding areas. The layout of the house was perfect with a bed and bath on each side of the house and the host was very accommodating in allowing us early check-in. Some things we really appreciated: GREAT lighting in every room, a well-stocked kitchen with Keurig coffeemaker, cozy and enjoyable front/back porches, near-stepless front entry, relaxing hot tub, comfortable beds, private location at the end of a dead-end road but still very close to downtown Murphy where we highly recommend eating at ShoeBooties Cafe, Poor Parsons Pub, and Crafted Dough . We loved our time at Hummingbird House and would definitely book here again!

This was our second time staying at Hummingbird House, and it was once again a fantastic experience! The home is very clean and has everything we need for convenience and leisure. We really enjoyed spending time on the porches and using the hot tub this trip. It is also in a great spot to access both downtown Murphy and the John C. Campbell Folk School (our reason for visiting town). Thanks again for a great stay!

We were very happy with the cleanliness and open space the home provided for our short stay in Murphy. It was cozy with a nice view off the back porch. The kitchen was well stocked with accessories and clean. We loved the murals and made the place cozy and unique. The hot tub was very relaxing and nice after a day of walking the town that is only 5 minutes away. We would recommend this home!

Our best ever stay in Murphy! The hosts were very accommodating. The house was even nicer than it looked in the pictures and we liked being in the woods with birds singing all around. It is comfortable and tastefully furnished with high quality furniture and beds. The house is an easy drive into downtown Murphy as well as to Hayesville. We hope to visit again soon.

You could tell as you entered how clean the cabin is. It wasn't only clean but very comfortable and I am very picky when it comes to beds. They thought of everything from all you need in the shower to what you need in the kitchen and towel for shower and extra towels for the hot tub. When we visit Murphy again we will be staying at same cabin.

Perfect Mountain Escape

This cabin had everything we needed—clean, cozy, and fully stocked (even with seasonings!). The hot tub was perfect, and the setting was peaceful and quiet. Loved our stay and would definitely come back. Highly recommend!

Above and Beyond!!!

Our stay was perfect!! The location was an excellent combination with mountain surroundings but only minutes from town. The property was so well appointed and meticulously decorated it’s evident that the hosts care about the visitor experience. We truly enjoyed our stay!!
