A classic kiwi bach, tastefully decorated - feels like stepping back in time. A great place to detox from modern living, away from mobile and internet. The fireplace and plenty of wood kept us very comfortable, and it was especially great that we could bring our dog. Peel Forest is a living treasure of ancient trees, and the magnificent Dennistoun Bush walk is right there at the doorstep. We loved our stay

The Classic Charming Cottage in Peel Forest is a very special place for a holiday. The accommodation is very comfortable and is situated in the heart of woodland with bird song, peak scenery and magnificent trees. It is an ideal holiday location for anyone wishing to escape the rush of urban life and would like a relaxing quite break. I would recommend the Classic Charming Cottage to anyone looking for an enjoyable break in a superb area of the South Island.

Lovely homely cottage

Very cosy and tidy cottage. The beds were comfy and the fireplace heated the whole house very quickly. Plenty of walks and adventures to be had nearby. Orari gorge was beautiful.

Very nice place to stay

We found the house very comfortable and warm with having the wood burner. Beds were good and a useful kitchen. There was a good stock of wood for the fire.

lovely cottage

Had a lovely relaxed stay, had everything we needed. Sacha our dog enjoyed her garden. Loved listening and watching the birds and pigeons.

Peel Forest cottage

We had a super stay at this characterful cottage. It was welcoming and comfortable, clean, very well equipped for our needs and in peaceful surroundings, with a secure garden and lots of lovely walks on the doorstep. We would definitely like to go again sometime.

Private and cosy cottage

My daughter and I really enjoyed our stay in your beautiful little cottage, hidden away amongst the wildflower garden, at the base of the mountains.. it was such a great break from the city and we look forward to staying again! Big thank you for accommodating our furry family member as well - so great to be able to have our dog stay with us too without any worries!

Peel forest weekend

My parents inlaw used our booking. They were impressed with the property. The only thing that they said could be improved, was the lights to read by.

Pet friendly older but classic bach. Need better lights in lounge hard to read at night as only one dim light. Also suggest a bread knife and foldable outdoor chairs so you can sit outside and move around in the sun. Quiet location and lovely that you can take dogs.
