House was clean and beautiful. The pool was amazing…easy in and out to local attractions and entertainment. Would happily stay again!

This house was perfect for our family of 10 adults. Only a few minor issues at check-in which were addressed immediately. Great kitchen and dining room table for meals. The pool and patio had lots of space for all of us. Loved our time in Clearwater.

Good Home Base

We typically stay at hotels when traveling for work, but with Spring Break and people wintering in the area from up north, this VRBO property offered us a cost effective alternative to get our work done and allow our crew to each have their own bedroom while enjoying comradery in the evening eating dinner and playing cards.

Hockey Tour

11 men hockey players stayed here for tournament in clearwater. Good location to arena and all amenities. Clean, lots towels, bedding, chairs outside. Be back next year!

Not clean enough, but great backyard area

The property wasn't cleaned well and it was missing top sheets and garbage bags four the bathrooms. Also, the single outside garbage can was overflowing and there were other garbage bags laying next to it when we got there. The first floor layout was very good, although many light bulbs were out. Backyard is really nice and large.

This house in in disrepair and needs to be overhauled before renting out.

There is a big pile of roof tiles and trash on the front lawn. In the back yard there is a pond that is dirty and the fence next to it has fallen down. The staircase outside going to the upstairs is missing the railings. The kitchen dishwasher is broken and when you open it, there is nothing to keep it from crashing to the ground - I cut my hand and banged up my leg. The master bedroom has no window covering on the bed by the door - the lights from next door were on all night and the neighbors can also see right in. one of our cars got broken into as well. The light in the upstairs hallway is handing out of its canister.

Good and bad

Pros: House was clean, they had towels for us to use, kitchen was big enough for us to cook in, which it was a big plus for us, beds were comfortable, comparing to other houses we have stayed in. Property manager was helpful to answer question. They do have washer and dryer. The listing was a little misleading, it was not mentioned. Evolve, the ones taking care of the property kept telling us that they didn’t have washer and dryer. Lack of Communication with owner.. Cons: Refrigerator : Icer maker not working Freezer was not freezing food properly. POOL: Incredible dirty, the water was green, with dead bugs and leaves. We had to wait for the home owner to call a pool cleaner to come out and try to clean it and with all the chemicals thrown in the water, the pool was not usable for 2 days out of our 4 nights stay, which was a big down for us and the kids (we did made reservations 1 month prior) BBQ If you plan on doing a BBQ, get ready to bring your own or buy one at the nearest Walmart (3 mins from the house). Because the grill at the house was in a very poor condition, it was very dirty and lacked maintenance. Overall: Good house, I would give a 5 start if the pool have had been with proper maintenance , ice maker, and freezer would work. If they take care of that, it will be a solid stay.

Hi Fernando, The owners would like to apologize again for the few issues that impacted your stay: - Someone had adjusted the temperature controls in the fridge, and they were quickly reset to resolve the problem with the freezer - The pool was serviced the day before your arrival. There was an unexpected issue with the timer on the circulator, and the owners had their pool maintenance come out immediately after you contacted them to make sure that you could still enjoy the pool during your stay - They also confirmed that the flat-top grill is working properly The owners would love to provide you with a truly 5-star experience, so please don't hesitate to reach out to us directly the next time you're in Clearwater so we can accommodate you however possible.

Family Thanksgiving

As much as I like to give 5 star reviews, I cannot do this here and still be truthfully honest. Our biggest issue was the ants. They were mostly on the main floor but the worst was in the kitchen cabinets. It seems that the ant problem was known and, although they were trying to get rid of them, it would have been nice to know before we arrived and put food in the cabinets. And in the description online it said there was a well stocked kitchen but there wasn’t even a measuring cup. Minor issue for most times but we were cooking our Thanksgiving meal. The beds were not completely made so we had to finish that. The house was okay but for the money we spent, I expected much more. The ants were such a negative part of our trip. I mostly wish they had let us know so we could have tried to make other plans. The best part about the stay was the communication and the way they came and took care of small issues. An outlet didn’t work and they sent someone out the next morning to fix it. The pool needed some cleaning and they came out that same day and took care of it. The blankets were very thin and they brought us more. Great management team!

Owner's response: "Tricia, the right vacation home is everything, and we're disappointed if this wasn't the one for you. - We did get your photo of the ant, after we spoke I scheduled someone to come out and look into your claim so that we could get it under control. We have never had a pest issue, we did stop by a couple of times but you were not there and we never go into the home if it's occupied - The kitchen is stocked with the essentials and basics, we will look into what we have and see if we can make it better - We understand that the bed configuration was an issue and you thought the King size bed should be in the master, but we decided to make the most of the space and put beds where they would make the most sense to fit as many people comfortably as possible. I was not aware that you had to make the beds I will speak to my cleaners - This is an outdoor pool and leaves will fall, and it only took us a few minutes to clear them out for you - We were happy to help you out with the issues we could take care of immediately, getting the outlet fixed and providing more blankets We're sorry that you did not have the 5-star experience we strive for but glad you enjoyed what you could and glad we communicated well. We do all we can to make the best possible stay, and we look forward to this property hosting many satisfied guests."

Would definitely recommend to others!

So not going to lie we were a little worried booking this property on short notice and with some of the reviews it had, but it was very close to where we were needing to be on our trip and when we arrived any worries we had were quickly put to rest. very beautiful and well maintained property and amenities greeted us, kitchen was very clean and all dishes were washed and organized, pool was clean and ready for kids and adults to enjoy, bathrooms were clean with fresh towels, bedrooms were clean with fresh sheets and the whole house smelled wonderful. Both the inside and outside of the house looked professionally cared for. we actually already recommended this place to some friends of ours looking to take a trip to same area and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone else looking for a nice place to stay in Clearwater.
